Leave Málaga and hit the Strait faster via autopista—less time on the bus, more in Gibraltar. Enjoy ~5h15 minutes of free time: Travel to the Top of the Rock, visit St. Michael’s Cave and the Great Siege Tunnels, or shop Main Street. Then swap sea views for whitewashed Mijas Pueblo with ~1h15 minutes to explore plazas, artisan shops and viewpoints. Return to Málaga at your original pick-ups. Highlights -Full-day coach tour with Spanish/English host -Express highway for a smoother, quicker day -Free time in both Gibraltar (~5:15h) and Mijas (~1.15h) -Convenient Málaga pick-up points -Departures from Gibraltar and Mijas: The bus will wait up to 5 minutes at each stop. Latecomers will not be waited for. Important: Bring a valid passport (or ID if EU/EEA/Swiss). Gibraltar is not in Schengen — a visa may be required depending on your nationality. Please check.
It’s your time, your plan. Ride the cable car to the Top of the Rock for two-continent views and easy access to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, dip into St. Michael’s Cave, trace history in the Great Siege Tunnels, or test your nerves on the Skywalk and the Windsor Suspension Bridge. Prefer street vibes? Wander Main Street and Ocean Village, mix duty-free shopping with a relaxed lunch. Keep an eye on the Barbary macaques—great for photos, not for sharing snacks. All optional; tickets for Cable Car/Nature Reserve are not included and can be bought on site. (currently closed for renovation) Departure from Gibraltar to Mijas: The bus will wait up to 5 minutes at each stop. Latecomers will not be waited for.
Switch gears to Mijas Pueblo, a white-washed hill town with flower-decked lanes and pretty plazas. Wander the cobbled streets, reach the Mirador de la Muralla for coast-to-mountain views, and peek at the oval bullring. Browse artisan ceramics, leather and local sweets, or dip into tiny chapels and viewpoints. Want it low-key? Grab a café con leche or gelato on a sunny terrace and watch village life drift by. Free time—do as much or as little as you like. Departure from Mijas to Málaga: The bus will wait up to 5 minutes at each stop. Latecomers will not be waited for.

Good trip, possibly an hour too long in Gibraltar but good value day out. Bus was comfortable, your guide very good
Very interesting place, learned so much and had a great day out. I would happily return. The tour guide was fantastic and set me and others up on a taxi tour, which I highly recommend you try, as it was run by a local who knows not only the route, the history, and how to interact with the apes/monkeys. We then finished the day with a trip to a little town, which had character and was a perfect wind-down to the day.
FYI. This isn’t a guided tour. It’s purely transportation only. You get a pdf with sights for Gibraltar, and you are on your own. The WhatsApp channel and their direct number are operated by bots. If you need help in the morning, you are out of luck. The tour details is misleading.
Gibraltar is a great trip. The Nature Reserve is worth the time and shopping and a snack in city center is worth the time
The tour was worth it, fundamentally because the guide José made us learn about the history of Gibraltar; he was very professional, pleasant, and very agreeable.
Overall, it was a great experience. If you’re not comfortable with steep walks or hiking, I recommend taking a taxi. It’s a much easier and more enjoyable way to reach the main attractions in the park. It’s worth the money.
We highly recommend this tour! Everything was super well-organized—the bus arrived right on time, and the pickup point was incredibly easy to find thanks to the clear directions we received. Big shoutout to our awesome driver, too! Our guide, Fernando, deserves a special mention. He was absolutely amazing! He shared so much history about the places we passed, packed with cool trivia and funny facts. He made sure everyone knew exactly where and when to meet up, so the whole group felt really well taken care of. A guide like him is an absolute gem for the company—he definitely deserves a bonus! 😁 We had plenty of free time in Gibraltar to explore the famous nature reserve, enjoy the stunning views, and see the friendly monkeys. On the way back, we stopped by the beautiful town of Mijas, which offered some more breathtaking views. Overall, we had more than enough free time throughout the day. Thanks for a great trip! Best regards, Kasia & Konrad
Very beautiful. We were guided on the excursion by a young man, Fernando, who was very pleasant and provided great explanations for each site we passed, with extensive historical knowledge of each area.
Excellent experience Complicated if you go by car. Leave it in the first parking you find, and walk...
