Description
The Ghosts of Fort Worth Tour takes guests into the heart of the Wild West and a district once so dangerous it earned a reputation across the American West. This is not just folklore, these are true stories that will make you understand how lawlessness, ambition, and corruption helped shape the city, and why some spirits may still linger.
Listen to stories that will separate fact from fiction of the former Holmes Hotel, why the Jett Building is known for reports of cold spots and shadow figures, and the unexplained sounds, and how the deep ties to the Chisholm Trail and the city’s cattle-driving past, this stop blends frontier history with some of the tour’s most compelling paranormal tales.
Designed for all ages, the Ghosts of Fort Worth tour balances spooky fun with thoughtful storytelling, helping guests understand that ghosts don’t appear out of nowhere - they come from real people, real places, and real moments in history and just enough mystery to spark the imagination.

Standing on one of the most infamous corners of Fort Worth, the White Elephant Saloon is forever tied to the violent Wild West past. Patrons and staff still report unexplained noises and heavy presences inside, as if the echoes of gunfights, gamblers, and lawmen never truly left this legendary saloon.
15 min
Once a bustling downtown hotel, the former Holmes Hotel has earned a reputation for unexplained footsteps, shadowy figures, and an oppressive atmosphere. Its long history of guests - some who never checked out - makes it one of Fort Worth’s most quietly chilling locations.
15 min
Once tied to Fort Worth’s more scandalous early days, the Jett Building is infamous for reports of shadow figures, flickering lights, and sudden cold spots. Many believe the spirits of former occupants never left, giving this Sundance Square landmark an unsettling reputation after dark.
15 min
Housed in a building with a dark and whispered past, the upscale Del Frisco Double Eagle Steak House is known for far more than fine dining. Staff and guests have reported phantom footsteps, cold drafts, and the feeling of being watched - reminders that Fort Worth’s past still lingers behind the velvet curtains.

I’ll never know
Hard to rate; I was the only one signed up so they cancelled. Not in town for a reschedule however the company (not Trip Advisor who had a 100% cancelled fee) for use in any city where they operate.
Operator response
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry we were unable to operate the tour during your visit and understand how disappointing that is when you are only in town for a limited time. We appreciate your understanding and hope we have the opportunity to host you on a future Ghost City Tours experience.

Inexperienced guide
The tour guide that We experienced was not ready to handle a tour on his own. He read from cue cards wasn’t engaging and was times were there were uncomfortable pauses with no speaking at all. I made this company aware and no refund or credit was offered or issued.
