It would have been nice to actually write a review and share beautiful photos had I gone on an excursion. I made a booking through Viator in June for a shore excursion scheduled for 1 August. I sent a message to Veditalia on the 7 July 2026 to confirm all is still on schedule. Received a positive reply from Salma regarding meeting point which reassures me. On the 29th July, two days before the excursion I receive a cancellation message from Camilla. Being at sea and due to the late notice, I was not able to book an alternative and I was not able to explore the city of Genoa. This was a second cancellation for a booking done with Viator on the same vacation. Great start to a vacation, thanks Veditalia for the bad experience which not only reflects on you, but on Viator as well. Disappointing!!!
Simona was very energetic and knowledgeable. We had a good mix of guided and personal exploring. We enjoyed her as a guide very much!
Tour operator gave erroneous meeting point information. Difficult to communicate with operator due to poor response rate.

Refund Processed: Despite our team following all correct operational protocols and the missed departure being beyond our control, a refund was already processed for your booking as a gesture of goodwill. We take great pride in our clear communication and punctual service. They canceled a few days before and then requested that I get online and cancel the booking to get a refund . This was hard to do as I was out of the country already and an inconvenience. They should just cancel and refund it and not require me to.

Great tour with a very knowledgeable guide (sorry didn’t write down her name). Nice bus ride to the town where the boat took us to Portofino. Beautiful town high off the water. Well worth exploring!
Portofino was unbelievably beautiful! There was really no tour or direction given, just time on our own to explore.
