Our adventure begins in a local brewery in Old Town, where you’ll taste four classic beers that have been enjoyed in Gdańsk since the 14th century. You’ll also try a special brew what was exported across Europe as a luxury beer and discover its unique story. As we stroll through the charming streets of Gdańsk, we will share tales of a famous astronomer who not only studied the stars but also brewed beer. We’ll pass the impressive Grand Mill, once a key player in the city’s beer production, and uncover its vital role in supplying grain and malt. It was a great tour! Mariana is a knowledge guide and we learned a lot about the history of beer making in Poland and the processes used. Got to try a wide variety that I hadn't tried before and wouldn't typically order, and enjoyed every one!

Ola was great! She's passionate about beer and in particular, Polish and Gdansk beers. A highlight was the jopenbier, an ancient style I've read about but never had the chance to sample until now. At the next stop I was treated to more great local beers, including a sublime fruit beer. The difference in the time it took me to get to the meeting point, and then back to the hotel was staggering. 🤣 I can highly recommend this tour.

We had an amazing beer tasting tour in Gdańsk with our friends! The experience was well organized and gave us a great introduction to the local beer scene. During the tour, we visited two very different places: a local brewery where we learned about the brewing process and tasted fresh beers, and a craft beer bar offering a fantastic selection of Polish craft beers. It was great to compare traditional styles with more creative and surprising flavors that we would probably never have tried on our own. Our guide, Mariana, was professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about both the history of Gdańsk and Polish beer culture. She made the tour engaging and fun from start to finish. The beers we tasted ranged from classic lagers and wheat beers to unique craft creations that pleasantly surprised us. It was a perfect combination of local culture, good company, and excellent beer.
