Gaudi Lesser-Known Art: Colonia Guell, Casa Vicens & Bellesguard

Description
We invite you to discover, on this curious tour, the most unknown, but no less beautiful, works of the incredible architect Gaudí. These are surprising buildings, not so popular but very important, to be admired away from the tourist horde. Discover the unknown architectural side of the great Antonio Gaudí. On this private tour your Gaudí specialist guide will take you, during 6 hours, to visit the most unknown and secret buildings of the architect. You will visit the Colonia Güell and its crypt (a 19th century factory complex for workers and its important crypt, whose design was used as an experiment to build the Sagrada Familia), where you will have tapas for lunch in a traditional restaurant. Visit the Bellesguard Towers, fascinating neo-Gothic forms mixed with Gaudí's characteristic Catalan modernism. Last stop: the unknown Casa Vicens, the first house designed by Gaudí.

A good option for getting to less-accessible Gaudi sites in Barcelona. Our family saw all seven UNESCO sites in two days thanks to this tour. Audio guides provided information on the Colonia Guell and the surrounding neighborhood and the two other buildings that do not have many tours offered.
I did not know what to expect of this tour, but after seeing what I have seen I can only recommend this tour to anyone who visits Barcelona. Guell colony is a treasure, there is something about that Gaudi church that feel more authentic than Sagrada Familia itself.
Just what I wanted. A tour that did not duplicate the usual Barcelona Gaudi tours. Our guide Fred drove us miles and miles and miles. Virtually impossible in less than a day on our own. Included a delicious sandwich and drink at a picturesque local bar and eatery on a picturesque little square in the Barcelona suburb. It included a wonderful tour of the charming suburb of Colonia Guell which I was not expecting.
Thank you for your comments, Robert. You have described what we wanted to offer the visitors when we designed this experience. Hope to see you again soon!
