Michelle delivered the perfect blend of culinary and historical facts and shared her appreciation of local producers and purveyors with us. She was so personable and kind; we enjoyed getting to meet Sorcha, as well. They were both fantastic ambassadors of the Emerald Isle. The tour was delightful way to taste the best of Galway and learn about the rich culture of the community. A must-do! 🧀🍫🥃
Sarah was an amazing tour guide, and the entire Galway Food Tour was amazing. 7 stops, so much food and drink, and a good bit of history along the way. We would highly recommend this tour!
First time doing the food tour. Really enjoyed it. Our tour guide gave us lots of info not only about the food but about Galway. We visited some nice places and had lovely food along the way and drink! Would like to do another one again.
Highly recommend. Great experience. Olly was great.
Great tour - well worth it. Cat was a knowledgeable guide. Generous servings of an interesting variety of foods.
We enjoyed this food tour and Sarah was a brilliant guide.
Great way to spend a few hours in Galway! We learned a lot and tried some wonderful food and drink.
We had a lovely time tasting our way through Galway with Sara. She regaled us with her stories and historical facts that proved to be educational and very entertaining. The tastings were plentiful, varied and delicious (some of the highlights included a lamb stew and memorable seafood chowder) and we felt fortunate to have such a friendly, intelligent and engaging host! Don’t miss this adventure.
As a native Galwegian, I thought I knew Galway and its history. How wrong I was! Our guide Cat introduced me to a marriage stone for instance that I know nothing about and had never seen! Her enthusiasm bubbled over and embraced the group. She was terrific. As a pescatarian, I was catered for without any fuss. The food was varied and delicious and the chowder was exceptional! I highly recommend this tour and this company.
Cat had a vast knowledge of the history of Galway and the surrounding area along with new so much about the food sites we had visited.
