Itinerary
Galle Fort is the main tourist attraction heritage site in Galle. It dates back more than 400 years. Galle Fort being a multi cultural and muti ethnic area is named as a UNESCO world cultural heritage site. Galle Fort is also referred as Dutch Fort.
You can visit a turtle farm and hatchery center in Mahamodara. There you can see turtles, baby turtles and hatching of turtle eggs. You can see no.of turtles and variety of them. Admission for turtle hatchery is not included in the tour cost
We will take you to one of gem museums in Galle. You can see how the precious stones are carved into beautiful and eye catching gems up close. If you want to buy gems or stones we can arrange you that also.
We will take you to a silk factory in Galle, where you can see how the silk clothes are made. If you wish you can shop for beautiful clothes.
Sri Lanka is very famous for its spices all around the world. Spices are a very important commodity in Sri Lankan cuisine. In Unawatuna we will take you to a spice garden where you can see a variety of unique and valuable spices in Sri Lanka. You can shop for spices and take them to your country to add some flavors to your food.
Jungle beach in Unawatuna area is a diverse area with a beautiful beach. You can explore around the beach and surrounding. You can visit Peace Pagoda in Rumassala.
You can enjoy some time relaxing on the most beautiful beach in Sri Lanka.
Yatagala temple is an acient temple having beatiful Buddha statues. You can visit and enjoy quiet and calm nature in the temple.
We will take you to fish market and fruit market where you can buy some local fruits.

We didn't go to the beach, the fruit market, or Yatagala Buddhist Temple. I don't even know my guide's name because he didn't tell me. There was no prepared verbal presentation about the history or background of the country; I only received a small amount of general information because I asked him to tell me the history of the country. He was very vague. Otherwise, he didn't get out with me at any of the stops and the only time he really spoke to me was to show me things as we drove around Galle Fort. I definitely would have loved a thorough history lesson on the country and their culture; I'm really disappointed about that. I liked the places we went, just disappointed that things were left out and I didn't realize it until I got home and checked the itinerary. I said I didn't want to do shopping, true, but I meant for souvenirs and junk. I would have liked to see the local market.

We had a specific itinerary in mind (historical and cultural sites, and gems). The itinerary was curated brilliantly with sufficient time at all points of interest without being rushed or overfilled. I really enjoyed the Galle City Tour and Shopping. The old town is full of history, culture, and charm. Walking along the Galle Fort walls gave beautiful views of the ocean, and the colonial architecture made me feel like I had stepped back in time. There were plenty of unique shops with handicrafts, jewelry, spices, and souvenirs — perfect for finding something special to take home. I also loved the small cafés and restaurants inside the fort, where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, explaining the history of the fort and showing us the best places to visit. Overall, it was both relaxing and educational. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sri Lanka — it’s a must-do experience in Galle!

Trip was not as advertised. Hardly saw galle. Just the inside of multiple shops. Plus extra charges not advertised
Jungle beaxh and scenery of fishery village ware wonderful. Wall abd clock tower in the galle fort were impressive.

Very nice and patient driver. We could spend as much time as we wanted in the individual places. For Danish tourists, it feels a little overwhelming that you do not know that a tip or payment is expected. This should be disclosed

This tour was very nice and fun. The agency was easy to work with and our guide Thilanka was great. He was very nice and helped take photos as well as provide insight on the sites. Most of the sites require additional fees to partake in an activity but the costs are very high. If you do some research beforehand you can help to advise on what sites you’d prefer to see first or are a must for you. I would use this service again when I return to Sri Lanka.
