- 5 kilometers south of Galle at the main road, A2, next to the restaurants "Summer Garden" and "Banana Garden", beachside, at the end of Unawatuna in direction to the south.
Description
At Divinguru Unawatuna we have around 16 different Dive Sites with different depth from 6 to 30 m we offer Reef Dives, Rock Dives, Wreck Dives and Night Dives. Hard and soft corals are at the most reef dive sites up to 18 m unfortunately rare. At the reefs you can find a lot of macro staff, many different nudibranchs, different coral fish of the Indian Ocean, Sting Rays on the sandy bottom and at the Unawatuna Dive Site No. 8,"Napoleon Reef" you see mostly also the Napoleon Wrasse. At the deeper Unawatuna Dive Sites, there are mostly rocky areas with deep valleys to explore. Close to the Galle harbour dive sites there are our wreck dive sites on a sandy ground with the famous "Rangoon" Wreck on a depth of 30 m, the SS Orestes on a depth of 22 m and the Galle Ship Wreck with a depth of 18 m. The most soft corals and fish live at the two deeper wrecks. Mostly there are hundreds and thousand of Sweet Lips and different other fish.

Divinguru - maximum pleasant dive in the organization
Diving with his family from Divinguru in Unawatuna in March. The centre itself is beyond praise. Reservations via website, free shuttle service to and from the hotel. Good friendly instructors. The thing is the boats are small, so entering the water with your back - someone doesn't like it, I'm fine. Standard Sri Lankan rental equipment does not include a dive computer - consider this - only from the instructor. It's uncritical for us because we had our own. Standard at one checkout is 2 dive site. It's unusual that we started out shallow and then went deep. Usually the opposite. Plus, it was a little stressful having the number of boats on one site - sometimes there were four. The overall assessment is good, because the dive sites themselves are not interesting - fish are scarce, reefs are not rich in corals, water visibility is poor. Diving just for the dive itself. Before that, we dived in Pasikuda (in May) - it's more interesting.

Excellent dive company -Unawatuna
Absolutely delightful and professional staff. New & well maintained equipment. The pre dive information was very clear and both of the dives were very well led by our Divemaster Irian. We selected to dive with Divinguru over the other local dive companies due to their helpful advice prior to diving and watching their interactions from the beach with their divers before going out and returning from dives. I highly recommend them.

Great team and infrastructure
The experience was great! The very competent staff, good equipment, good boat and great briefings before the diving. They also give us a cure for nausea that helps a lot . The whole process was super quiet and definitely recommend. Dive again with them

Diving Unawatuna with Divinguru
Did 4 days diving.Great very friendly professional staff.Quality rental gear,Nitrox, large modern shop and dive school for learning. Five boats for small diverse groups.Quality of diving is good for Sri Lanka.Overall very enjoyable time.Elie always responded any inquiry or questions.Well done website and highy recommend to here in Unawatuna.Beach is nice with lots dining options and accomidations within walking distance.
