Full/Half Day Small Group Boat Trip with Food and Drinks

Georgios makes you feel welcome from the moment you meet him. His boat is immaculate, comfortable and just the right size if you like sailing in the Aegean Sea’s from Lindos without too many people on board. Lunch is served at sea and it’s homemade, healthy, tasty & authentic. Water and cold beers kept us hydrated and the swim stops are delightful. Would definitely recommend, it’s one of our highlights of our holiday.

Such a wonderful sunset cruise on Gin Tonic. The boat is small, incredibly clean and beautifully kept and it felt much more like being out on a private boat than taking a tourist boat trip. George took fantastic care of us, with whatever drinks we wanted and fresh fruit. We stopped at St. Paul’s Bay and at caves where we could swim through and snorkel in absolutely crystal-clear water. The route itself was gorgeous, sailing along the cliffs and beneath the Acropolis of Lindos with incredible views. We even had the sails up, which made it feel all the more special. Everything was easy and unhurried. A beautiful way to see the Lindos coastline and spend a few hours on the water. We loved it.

After reading positive reviews. We decided to book the 5.5 hour sailing day, with food and drink included. We booked directly with Georgios via WhatsApp, where he answered our many questions. He gave us details for a reliable taxi firm, who we contacted to arrange pick up and drop off at a cost of 15€ each way from Pefkos. You can also get the local bus or other taxis. Please note there is atound a 10 minute walk through the narrow street of Lindos to get to the GinTonic boat and it is very hilly (breathtaking views mind) There were 10 people on board, so enough room to enjoy the boat. Georgios was friendly and made you feel welcome, you can tell he knows his stuff. We headed out just after 10am enjoying a laid back sail to our first swim stop called red beach, it was picturesque, we swam and snorkeled for half an hour, while a beautiful fruit platter was prepared and served with drinks once back on board. The next stop was below a ruined castle, again you could get off or stay and chill. Then we were served an amazing lunch of Pastitsio and salad. Drinks include a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic. Our sail back to Lindos and final swim stop was very laid back letting the sails once again do the hard work, great music all day, not in your face nor too loud and at times very apt to being on a boat! We really did not want the day to end. If you are looking for a more intimate sail day, not 80+ people stuck on a party boat, then do not hesitate to book GinTonic. You will have an amazing day. On Thursday 10th September, we set sail with Georgios on a half-day sailing trip and chose the premium package, which included a delicious fruit platter, soft and alcoholic drinks, and lunch. We enjoyed three swim stops in stunning bays, with calm seas that felt more like a swimming pool than the open water. Snorkels, masks, and noodles were provided by the captain, making it easy to explore and relax. The atmosphere on board was perfect. The music stayed subtly in the background, complementing the sound of the waves rather than competing with it. Best of all, the boat was not overcrowded, so there was plenty of room to unwind. If you're looking for a peaceful day at sea without feeling like you're packed into a floating sardine tin, this trip is definitely for you.

Perfect day trip out at sea with friend. This was the third consecutive year I've been on this trip, the first two with family and this time with a friend and it was as good as always. Great to see Georgios again - the perfect captain and host for the day. Ideal and convenient pick up (10 a.m) and drop off times from Lindos pier which fitted in with other daily activities. The boat can take a maximum of 13 and we were in a group of 12 and the Gin & Tonic sail boat did not feel over crowded at all with plenty of space to sit/sunbathe. Three fantastic locations visited to drop anchor and swim/ snorkel (all equipment provided) in crystal clear seas. On the first a delicious fresh fruit platter was served and the second an authentic Greek main and fresh salad all washed down with your drink of choice. Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) were served throughout the trip and were in plentiful supply. On all three trips we were able to raise the sails for part of the journey and sail peacefully on the sea. It is amasing and to his credit that Georgios does this all seemingly effortlessly and single handed. Truly a fantastic captain and day out at sea. Can unreservedly highly recommend this trip for a great day out.

My wife and I, as well as two friends had a fabulous day on board, from 10am until around 15.00. We had 3 swimming stops. A couple of which would have been inaccessible without both a boat and excellent local knowledge. Fresh fruit, with honey and pasticio (please ignore the murder of the name of this Greek dish), with a fresh Greek salad. Soft drinks, lager and prosecco supplies were plentiful. George, the skipper, (who's command of English is excellent) was wonderfully accommodating. Giving us a final choice between an additional swimming stop or hoisting the sail and putting further out to sea. We sailed and dangling one's feet into the water, off the stern, with just the sound of the wind in the sails was immeasurably relaxing. This yacht was far less crowded than other probably less personable ones. When one thinks a couple of sunbeds, drinks and lunch on the beach would be infinitely more than the cost of a delightful day sailing, it's more than worth it; in many ways!!

We had an absolutely fantastic day with Gin Tonic Lindos Sailing! ⛵️🍸 We did this trip last year, and it was a must do experience to repeat. From the moment we booked, George was incredibly efficient with communication and kept everything so well organised right through to the end of the trip. He was also great fun and has a brilliant sense of humour, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We were lucky enough to sail for quite some time, which was absolutely incredible. Being out on the water, taking in the scenery and enjoying the beautiful coastline was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. The food was a lovely surprise too. The pastichio and Greek salad were delicious and such a refreshing change from the usual food you might expect on a sailing yacht. Everything felt thoughtful and well done. It was relaxed, fun and genuinely felt like a special experience rather than just another boat trip. My teenage daughter and I spent another fabulous day onboard with Georgios and a lovely family of five. This was our third time sailing with Gin Tonic, and it is always the highlight of our holiday! We had three lovely swim stops, with snorkels available to use, as well as noodles and a paddleboard if you fancied getting in the water and having some fun. We were also lucky enough to have the sails up, and there is honestly nothing quite like it — absolutely amazing! The whole day was so relaxing, with plenty of delicious food and drinks flowing. We enjoyed an amazing fruit platter, a huge portion of pastitsio, and a gorgeous Greek salad. Georgios is THE BEST host and always makes the day so special. We cannot recommend this trip highly enough – it is always such a memorable and relaxing day, and we’ll definitely be back again!

A perfect experience for our family - absolutely recommend. Georgios was an excellent captain and host. He artfully maneuvered the boat, was kind to our kids, and was attentive with providing drinks and lunch. We were a family of five - other guests were a group of four and a couple. Even with seemingly a full boat there was still plenty of space and we were comfortable. We booked this because it seemed more personal and lower stress than the larger swimming boats - and we were not disappointed. The swimming stops were great and the food was amazing.
