In this interactive museum we will learn about the effects of living at the Equator, the only place in which we can see the northern star and the southern cross constellations at the same sky, also we will learn about the Coriolis effect which affects the movement of the water, besides that we will have a brief tour of the 4 unique biomes in the Ecuador, Highlands, Coast, Rainforest, and insular region (Galapagos)

The basilica of National vow, the highest church in Ecuador our first stop at the historic center of the city of Quito offers a beautiful panoramic of the whole city of Quito, here we will learn about the only neogothic church at the old town and apprecciate its great dimensions
Monasterio de Carmen Alto
This is the convent of one of the 4 close order congregations at the historic center of the city of Quito, we will learn a little bit the history of the congregation and how they live inside the structure

Learn more about Intriguing and Complex Quito
Alexis is a kind, intelligent and knowledgeable guide. I really appreciated learning the history of Quito from Indigenous, Incan, Spanish and Catholic perspectives. Beginning at Pululahua Volcano & Geobotanical Reserve, we learned Indigenous history and about the Indigenous community still living there. We then glimpsed the exterior of the Temple of the Sun and made our way to Intiñan Equator Museum. It was so fun to do the science experiments there and learn more indigenous history. I guarantee you will be very surprised by the experiments. We then went to the Old Town and learned more history about Basilica del Voto Nacional, and the controversies regarding this church and how they were creatively addressed, the Monasterio de Carmen Alto, Palacio del Antiguo Círculo Militar, Republica Del Cacao - Mall El Jardín, Palacio Arzobispal, Plaza de la Independencia (Plaza Grande), Catedral Metropolitana de Quito, El Sagrario, Fundación Iglesia de la Compañía, Antiguo Banco Central del Ecuador, Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco, Museo de la Ciudad and Calle La Ronda. I encourage you to give yourself this opportunity to learn more about the intriguing and complex history of Quito.
