The discovery of Lucy’s fossil in 1974 forced a complete rethink of human genealogy, providing that our ancestors were walking 2.5 million years earlier than had been supposed. The National Museum also contains many wonderful artifacts dating back to pre-Axumite civilization. Please note that the National Museum Will be closed on Monday.

Thanks so much Mr Teshome We had a really good outing, you have an excellent knowledge of Ethiopia. He was super-helpful, great conversationalist and listens to understand.
Teshome was perfect. The timing was not. It was foggy so we couldn't really see the city from Entoto. All if the churches were closed for renovation or prayer. The National Museum was also closed- because it was Monday. The electricity was off at the Ethno Museum. And it was fasting time during our visit. Teshome still did his best to give us a great tour despite the circumstances. He was very knowledgeable about the city and the museum exhibits. We learned a lot about the city and were able to use this knowledge to better arrange our schedule for the rest of the week. Thanks Teshome!!
This was a great tour through various sites in Addis Ababa. Teshome is an excellent guide and he answered all my questions throughout the day. Teferi was the driver and he was very helpful. Highly recommended!
I had the best time with my guide Teshome - he knows a lot, and he was super helpful! Him and Teferi (the driver) are the dream team! I spent an awsome day visiting every important sight with 2 of them! Really grateful for this experience!
Tour was good, Only wish it was longer. Teshome was a great guide. Driver was great to, don’t remeber his name though
I truly had an absolutely unforgettable experience with our tour guide Teshome and the driver Nebiyu. Must say Teshome was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and brought the history of every site to life. Nebiyu helped navigate the roads perfectly. We always felt safe and comfortable as we travelled around Addis Ababa city. Highly recommend booking them for an stress-free and engaging Addis Ababa day tour trip.
Interesting n comfortable tour, with a very knowledgeable guide Teshome n friendly driver Nebiyu. Went all places in itinerary plus more like shopping mall, Entoto Summit,. Shopping in mercato is very challenging if without the guide. View from Entoto is enchanting. LUNCH was superb with local cuisine n honey wine.
It was very convenient to be picked up and dropped off at my hotel. Teshome was our guide. He was very knowledgeable, interesting, and his English was outstanding. The other couple on our tour was delayed due to a problem with their hotel room, so Teshome took me to a local Ethiopian coffee shop for their ritual, which was a great experience. Teshome was great at answering questions that came up. The tour itself covered many different sites and provided a great overview to the city. The driver's name was Nebiyu, and he did an outstanding job navigating narrow streets and extreme traffic.
Visiting for the first time and had a great one day tour with our guide Teshome and driver Nebiyu who were very informative and professional. The highlights were definitely the Mausoleum of Menelik II at the Ba'Ata Church and seeing Lucy at the National Museum of Ethiopia. I went on a Sunday which was relaxing and uncrowded, but beware that certain places like Mercato may not be fully open. Hotel pick up and drop off was a breeze.. The admission fees were included. We had a huge, delicious but very inexpensive traditional Ethiopian meal for lunch. Definitely recommend.
Best tour guide ever. Learned so much. By the end we were like long lost buddies. This was the absolute best
