The trip begins at the Borik marina, just outside Zadar’s old town. As we cruise along the coast, we pass the red-and-white Puntamika Lighthouse, a scenic landmark at the tip of the peninsula. From there, we continue through the Zadar Channel toward the island of Ugljan, with the majestic mountains of the mainland rising in the background—a perfect blend of sea, islands, and dramatic coastal views.
We’ll anchor for about 1 hour in a beautiful, untouched bay on Ugljan Island. Here you can swim, snorkel, or simply relax and enjoy the peace, crystal-clear sea, and unspoiled nature around you. Take a moment to unwind – this is your time to enjoy the true magic of the Adriatic.
We’ll stop at a small, authentic village on Ugljan Island, where you’ll have some free time to explore at your own pace. Take a walk through its quiet streets, discover local life, or relax by the sea. This is a perfect opportunity to try delicious Croatian food at a local tavern, enjoy a coffee or ice cream, or even take a refreshing swim. Captain Peder, calm and nice. Upload a nice route, a bit for motor, sailing and walking on some islands and also a dip in the sea. Had lunch on the island Ugljen with local ingredients at a family-run restaurant. Superb weather despite September 19th.
This was a superb and classy day trip on a comfortable attractive yacht about 25 feet long. Petr was a charming, intelligent and brilliant one-man captain and crew, who took us to the quiet and beautiful island opposite Zadar, to a village for a walk and coffee, a stunning quiet cove for swimming or snorkelling (equipment provided) and then to a wonderful authentic fish restaurant with tables by the sea. We sailed there and back without engine as the weather was ideal and this was a relaxing dreamy experience. Petr provided wine, soft drinks and pretzels to keep us happy until a late lunch. A classy and excellent value day trip.
The boat was excellent and our guide Petar was amazing ! Great island tour with an excellent lunch stop. Sailed out on the way back and saw dolphins ! Excellent day.

Honestly, one of the greatest experiences hands down. Petar was amazing throughout the day. He explained how the day would work so clearly from the start. He was super knowledgable about the islands we visited, including the island he grew up on! If you’re looking for a relaxed, informative and overall authentic sailing experience, book with Petar! We also enjoyed lunch on one of the islands at a family owned restaurant, enjoying great seafood that is caught fresh daily! Went swimming in the most beautiful bay in Croatia, and sailed across to a few different islands. Truly an exceptional experience.
Petar was an incredible skipper and guide, he couldn't have made the day any better. The entire day is mapped out well but completely relaxed allowing more time for swimming amd enjoying the ride. His recommendations were perfect for lunch as well, highly recommend this sailing trip!
The Skipper knows was he is doing. He is a really nice person. He shows us wonderfull spots. Even with less wind we tried to sail.
Peter the skipper and his boat were fantastic. He was friendly, relaxed knowledgeable and very experienced. The boat was a beautiful 12m yacht and while the wind was not the best we did manage some great sailing in a small group of 7 people (two families). Couldn’t fault the day - we had a fantastic time.
The trip was amazing, the boat was clean and well maintained. Our guide and skipper super friendly and knowledgeable about everything sailing and local history. He even booked a table at a restaurant on the island we visited (which also had top of the line food and a breathtaking view. Absolute perfect trip, would book again if I visit Zadar another time
