Pigeon Valley is a lovely valley located near Uchisar town named after the thousands of pigeon houses carved into the soft tufa since ancient times and offers another spectacular panoramic view over Cappadocia together with the spectacular views of the dovecotes. The valley takes its name from pigeons and valley ranks first among the popular, most known, and impressive valleys of Cappadocia.
Kaymakli underground city is built under the hill known as the Citadel of Kaymakli and was opened to visitors in 1964. The people of Kaymakli (Enegup in Greek) village have constructed their houses around nearly one hundred tunnels of the underground city. The inhabitants of the region still use the most convenient places in the tunnels as cellars, storage areas and stables, which they access through their courtyards. The Kaymakli Underground City has low, narrow and sloping passages. While the underground city consists of 8 floors below ground, only 4 of them are open to the public today, in which the spaces are organized around ventilation shafts.

We had a wonderful experience with the Full day Cappadocia tour. Our tour guide arrived early and was waiting for us in front of the hotel. As soon as we came out of the hotel, he greeted us. The tour vehicle was fantastic, very spacious and comfortable. The tour guide is from the region and he explained the history of each places we visited. The guide was excellent, kind and caring. He recommended a local restaurant for lunch. We had the most delicious Testi kebabs and Lahmacun at the restaurant. We were able to experience the highlights of Cappadocia in one day because of this tour. It was a memorable trip for us.
