Full Day Mega Combo Adventure

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Tony from Tony Expeditions in Costa Rica! From the very beginning, Tony was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and thoughtful with my family and me. He was very thorough throughout the entire booking process, answered all of my questions quickly, and made sure every detail was taken care of. During our tour, he was accommodating to all of our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time. We did 4 amazing trips with Tony’s team. The mega combo, AVT quad bikes, sunset cruise and the sloth and river safari. Roy was our guide for all 4 experiences and he really couldn’t have been better. So kind, friendly, knowledgeable and fun. We came to Costa Rica from England as a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys and we have all truly fallen in love with the place. We can’t recommend the trips with Roy and Tony’s organisation highly enough. We were staying at Dreams hotel and Roy and his team met us there in large, comfortable , air conditioned vehicles and boat for the cruise. We have seen and done so much and what we take home in experiences and memories is something we will be forever grateful. Thanks Roy and Tony.

What an amazing experience! We booked the Mega Tour for one of our days in Costa Rica. Tony messaged me the day before my tour asking if I could move to the next day because the weather would be better. We were there in early July in the rainy season. He was 💯 right. The weather we had was perfect. Roy picked us up at our hotel and told us all about the local area and Costa Rica on our 1.5 hour drive to the destination. Once there, the place was great. We zip lined, rode horses, went down a massive long water slide, had a great lunch, saw some monkeys and relaxed in the hot springs after a quick mud bath. Roy was great because he was always looking in the trees for monkeys, toucans, or lizards on the ground so we could see some animals. We loved it so much we booked an ATV tour with Tony and Roy the next morning. They met us with ATVs outside our resort (Dreams). We rode through the town, stopped at local beaches, learned about the local economy, natural habitats and ended at a local restaurant for lunch. These excursions made our vacation so memorable. I highly recommend Tony’s Expeditions. Some tips for the mega combo - they have towels at the locations so you don’t have to bring them, there’s changing rooms so you can change into dry clothes after the days end, bring bug spray. I used a waterproof holder for my phone with a lanyard so I could take my own pictures while zip lining and horseback riding but the professional ones were cool to buy as well.

Tony is amazing!!! Very informative and funny! He kept me and my sister laughing the whole trip! We booked the Mega Combo with him which included ziplining, horseback riding, water rafting, lunch, massage (additional cost), mud, and a dip in the hot springs. After this full day combo, we booked an additional excursion with him directly for another day! He took us to see the rescued animals at Centro de Rescate La Pumas and to the Llanos Del Cortez waterfall…he bought us some local fruit to enjoy their which was AMAZING and also lunch at the best restaurant with the best view in La Cruz, Punta Descartes. I highly recommend any excursions with him! I will be back to Costa Rica and will definitely be booking another excursion with him when I return.

Tony took us on a full-day adventure! He picked us up at 8am our hotel and immediately pointed out the local wild life including 3 species of monkeys as well as the Montezuma Oropendola bird. On the drive to Vandara he taught us about the local fauna, agriculture, wildlife and natural conservation programs. His passion and enthusiasm is clear! At Vandara we went horseback riding, then zip lining, then a quick cultural education session were we learned about sugar cane and coffee and had a quick snack before we went down a 1,500 ft. water slide. We had a break for lunch where we were served a buffet of local food (way too much food) before we headed down to the hot springs for an afternoon of relaxation. We soaked in the hot springs, then covered our skin in volcanic mud, had mojitos at the full bar while we waited for the mud to dry and then washed it off in the river and waterfall. We relaxed a bit more in the hot springs. Tony came back to pick us up and pointed out a Jesus Christ lizard in the river. When we got back to the hotel, Spider Monkeys were there to great us which Tony was really excited to tell us about. Apparently they're his favorite! Gracias Tony!

Our Mega Combo Excursion with Tony was a full and fabulous day! Tony is caring, friendly, and super knowledgeable! He always went the extra mile to make sure we had the best experience in Costa Rica! He also did our airport transport to El Jobo, and took us on two excursions - one to Ilanos del Cortez Waterfall (amazing and a MUST see!) and the other one to the mega combo! That started with horse back riding through a farm with a volcano in the distance, then tubing on the river, delicious buffet lunch, zip lining over the river canyon and finishing with a volcanic mud treatment and soak in their hot spring pools. What a great day! Huge THANK YOU to Tony for such an amazing experience!

Our family of eight had an amazing day with Tony at this mega adventure complex. I zip lined for the first time, the kids love the epic water slide and horseback riding was gentle. We were staying at Dreams Las Mareas and Tony picked us up at the door and drove us home. It was a fun filled day. Tony took great care of us, and made sure we had the best day possible. We enjoyed our time with Tony so much that we spent two more days with Tony surfing at Tamarindo and then sightseeing/ shopping in San Jose before leaving Costa Rica. Will definitely reach out to Tony again when we are back in Costa Rica hopefully soon! A great guy and knowledgeable. Lots of positive energy!

Awesome ATV personalized tour with 14 friends and family. Asked for a special Birthday celebration and they delivered! Cake, drinks, fresh fruit. Everyone loved it so much we booked the mega tour! 24 people on Mega tour included waterfall, zip line, horse back ride, history of coffee and sugar, hot spring and water slide. Water slide was not my thing, but everything else was fantastic! Lunch was really good and included! Tony organized a great tour
