Discover the secrets hidden behind the Southern Andes Range on a Full Day tour visiting Lake Fagnano and Lake Escondido in a Toyota Hilux expedition (8 people max. per vehicle). Have a relaxing day, exploring and having fun in this off-road experience! Summer Experience: Walk around the refuge, enjoy a Barbecue. Winter Experience: Walk around the refuge in the snow & enjoy a barbecue. At the refuge, you can also do some optional -not included- winter activities such as a snowmobile ride or dog sledding with Huskies.

Itinerary
After a morning pickup at your hotel, you will take the National Route N3 to begin your incredible journey.
You will cross a glacial valley and soon after you will make a stop at “Tierra Mayor Winter Centre” to use its facilities.
As you continue to follow Route N3 you will cross the Fuegian Mountain Range through the Garibaldi Path, a panoramic viewpoint that will allow you to have a first look at Lake Escondido & Fagnano. Enjoy the amazing views!
Continue downhill and leave Route N3 to follow the beaten path of old woodcutter's footsteps along the forest until you reach Fagnano Lake. The 4WD vehicles allow us to reach places where access would be impossible otherwise.
You will continue your journey to Escondido Lake. Here, you’ll have the option to either take a rest or hike on the shore by your own. Then, you will be driven to the refuge where you may have some free time to walk around before lunch. After enjoying a traditional Argentinian barbecue, you will return to your hotel in Ushuaia. Winter: You can participate in optional (not included) activities such as a snowmobile ride or dog sledging with Huskies. After eating and enjoying the snowy scenary from the comfort of the warm refuge, you will return to your hotel in Ushuaia.
You will be back in Ushuaia city at approximately 5 p.m. *The winter experience usually takes place from April to September. (IMPORTANT: The season change is subject to snow and weather conditions) *The itinerary may be subject to change due to weather and road conditions or any other conditions of an operational nature.

Pickup Locations & Times
Pick-up from your lodging in Ushuaia is included. Pick-up time will be between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. If your hotel is NOT listed, please provide your hotel name when booking in the 'Special Requirements' box. If you are staying at an Airbnb please let us know your Airbnb name and address for pick-up. If you are staying at an Airbnb, you MUST give a phone number so that we can reach you if needed.

I did not know we would be in a convoy with a lot of other people. However our guide was not very helpful so I could at least ask the other guides questions and they were more responsive. The explanation on the vehicle was inaudible and it was very hot inside with no air circulation. The scenery was beautiful and the paddle on the lake was very nice.
Had a great time on this tour! Saw all the awesome spots. Freddy was great as well. I'll definitely take more tour with this company in future

A must in the ushuaia visit package. Wonderful scenery of both lakes (Lago Escondido and Lago Fagnano). Knowledgeable and experienced Driver-Guide.
