Just incredible, memorable, as much with the service and the people who accompanied us as the places.
The pink beach is not fully pink. Its a very small pink stone mixed with the sans, that you can see with the mouvement of the tide. The Komodo dragons in the Komodo village look to be feeded to be sleeping and to not be dangerous. Good zoo, but not as 20 years ago, in an other place in Komodo island. One stop for snorkelling is not interesting beacuse no fishes! Manta ray werre amazing. Good third spot for snorkeling. The climbing for the view is nice (the view) The driver of the boat, at the last stop, made a great error of speed and had to turn to fast, ans the boat has quite sink... as reconised one of the guides....
The experience was perfect and well-organized. Unfortunately, we could not visit Padar and Komodo due to the weather, but they were prompt in communicating this to us and in proposing various alternatives. The guides are very kind and helpful. The only negative note, contrary to what was said, they did not send the drive with photos and videos of the day.
Beautiful experience, everything managed very well. The guides are always present both on land and in the water for those who don't know how to swim very well. We managed to see some amazing sea turtles that swam right next to us. Stunning Pink Beach and the hike was also very nice, even though it was super crowded. I might have extended the times a bit as they were very tight and rigid, and in the end we were back in Labujan at 5 PM... perhaps even to buy some souvenirs or to spend more time in the water looking for turtles or manta rays that unfortunately we didn't see.
We had an excellent day with a good guide and a very attentive crew. However, regarding organization, we learned the day before that our excursion schedule had been moved up!
The trip started at 6.20am, there was a bit of hanging around at the port but once we got going it was a great day. We only had 15 people on our boat which was nice. All 6 stops were the right amount of time. The beaches are off the scale beautiful but the highlight was seeing 5 Komodo’s. The guide got up close with our cameras and even took photos with us near the Komodo (but obviously from a safe distance) The sea was very choppy at times so something to be mindful of if you suffer sea sickness. I would highly recommend this day trip. The crew onboard were all very nice and professional adding to our amazing day.
Busy but great day! The boat ride, to the hike to the dragons and all the snorkeling was great! I would recommend
In general we had a really good day, amazing islands with great view points, turquoise sea, great snorkeling spots and saw two Komodo Dragons. But they didn’t move and just lay there, so that wasn’t that spectacular. Negative facts: To get to the Komodo Dragons we had to walk through Komodo Islands Village which is a total slum. Trash and really bad smell everywhere. And they market this place as a national park - very sad. The tour starts early and they said they will pick us up at 6 am, in fact they where 25 min late and let us wait in the lobby in the early morning. They picked us up in a 7 seater and we have been 8 people. We couldn’t buckle up and I had to sit in the middle of the two seats. Harbour at Labuan Bajo looks like a slum.
Absolutely incredible experience! The tour guides were absolutely fantastic and the destinations even more so! I cannot recommend them highly enough. They truly went above and beyond my expectations! Photos do not do justice!!
Great day out - all activities and pick up times as promised. Lunch was good and plenty of water and snacks available throughout the day. Helmet was a great guide as were all the rangers at Komodo National Park.
