Description
On this full-day tour from La Paz to Copacabana and Isla del sol, you will witness extroardinary scenic lakeside views. You will be crossing rivers on rafts, stopping at beautiful viewing points, learn the history of this important place. You will have time to visit Copacabana itself, have a local lunch and take an afternoon boat trip to the Lake Titicaca, to visit the ¨Island of the Sun¨, a place of Inca legends. You will be be travelling in a friendly group with a Bolivian guide, who will take care of you.

Itinerary
Depart from La Paz at 7:00 am , arriving around 9:45 am to the Tiquina Mirador viewpoint, and catching the ferry to cross the Tiquina crossing
Around 11:30 am, you will arrive in Copacabana and have free time for lunch before the Sun Island tour departure at 12:30 pm
At 12:30 pm, you will board the boat to Isla del Sol arriving around 13:40 pm, and you will be dropped off at Yumami at the south end of the island
From 13:40 pm to 15:20 pm, you will be able to walk around the sun temple Pilkokaina and the coast of Yumani
At 15:20 pm. you will go on the boat back to Copacabana from Yumani port. Arriving around 16:30 pm. You will have about 1 hour in Copacana to buy some snacks.
Around 17:45 pm, the bus departs from La Paz from the Gloria Hotel. At 7:00 pm, you will go through the Tiquina crossing. Arriving in La Paz around 10:00 pm. Arriving in La Paz around 10:30 pm.

We had a great trip to Copacabana ! Bolivia hop was very flexible and responsive. We were able to stay the night in Copacabana and take the bus back the next day, which I recommend doing. Ivan, our guide, was amazing. He made everything run smoothly, even with the bad weather conditions we had on the second day. I recommend you ask for him if you can.

It was a truly adventure day, after crossing the border with Perù we had a nice lunch in Copacabana and then moving to Isla del Sol, with a nice hike and amazine viewpoints. We then headed to La Paz passing by Tiquina with the boat, a trip full of adrenaline. I really want to thank from the bottom of my hear our guide Xavier, with his energy and his passion he really brought this experience to another level! Super suggested.

Great for solo traveler's the journey is long but the guide Emerson was great at answering questions and making the journey interesting

My partner is from Kentucky, USA, and I am from Santa Cruz, Bolivia; we decided to visit La Paz to get to know the beautiful landscapes and places that Bolivia has. We did a one-day tour from La Paz to Copacabana and the Island of the Sun. Our guide was Javier and we loved the experience we had with him; attentive, organized, bilingual, very professional. It was a nice experience, thanks to the agency for all the logistics behind it and also to Ivan, an excellent guide who makes everything a success. I highly recommend it
It was a very well-organised tour, and everything ran smoothly. However, I felt there was quite a bit of downtime in Copacabana, where there isn't much to see or do. One option was to hike the Stations of the Cross, but that may not be suitable for many people, especially since the hike on Isla del Sol is already quite challenging due to the altitude. I think the itinerary could be improved by using that extra time to visit Moon Island (Isla de la Luna) or another nearby island instead of spending so long waiting in Copacabana. That would make the overall experience feel more worthwhile and allow visitors to see more of Lake Titicaca.
