or we will pick you up at your hotel to start our road trip to the municipality of El Peñol, located 69 kilometers from the city of Medellín, where we will make our first stop of the replica of the "old Peñol", a town that was flooded to make way for the huge hydroelectric dam that has 2,260 hectares of water, get on an adventure boat (Ticket not inclued) to navigate this incredible lake and see the most beautiful landscapes and tourist attractions such Pablo Escobar "la Manuela" farm, the boat ride, we will go to the gigantic rock of the Peñol that is 220 meters high and its 740 steps leads to one of the best views in the world, then we will go to the municipality of Guatape, where you will be fascinated by its Colorful houses and their friendly people, we will visit the "square of zocalos" and the promenade of Guatape.

Never showed up.
Guide texted 15 minutes prior to pick up to confirm we were ready. We were. 5 minutes prior to pickup we were told they needed to postpone by an hour and a half. Then they said they couldn’t make it. No stars.

The information provided by the customer regarding the change in schedule is correct; however, it is important to clarify that the customer was contacted directly by our supervisor at 7:57 a.m., before the scheduled tour time, via WhatsApp: “We wanted to let you know that a small issue has arisen with your guide, so we need to adjust the tour time to 9:30 a.m.” The situation was caused by a traffic incident that occurred approximately five minutes before the guide was due to arrive at the pickup location, affecting both the vehicle and the guide, who required medical attention. Fortunately, the incident was not serious. We immediately explored alternatives to operate the tour, including assigning another vehicle and another guide. However, due to the city's vehicle circulation restrictions (“Pico y Placa”), we were unable to provide another available vehicle in time. We also offered to operate the tour the following day, but the customer declined this option because they were scheduled to leave Medellín the next day. Once it became clear that we could not guarantee the tour under the expected conditions, at 8:17 a.m. we submitted a request through Viator for a 100% refund of the reservation. The customer was also informed that the refund request had been submitted. Therefore, we would like to emphasize that our company acted promptly in response to an unforeseen event, maintained communication with the customer, explored different alternatives to provide the service, and, when it was not possible to operate the tour, immediately submitted the request for a full refund, which is duly recorded in Viator’s system. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to the customer. We will also use this situation as an opportunity to strengthen our contingency procedures and establish additional backup options for vehicles and guides, allowing us to respond more effectively should a similar situation occur in the future.

Glad we didn’t miss
It was an amazing day for sure. Carillo kept us very comfortable in the car and spoke perfect English. He gave us tours as we drove and was very easy to get along with. We got to the guatape rock early and practically no lines. That was incredible in itself. Then on to the city of Guatape for delicious lunch with a restaurant he was familiar with. It was all excellent including the fish. We are Picky about fish being from Alaska but this trout was delicious. The private boat ride was the perfect end to the day. Cooled us off and very informative

Best Tour Ive Booked
It was a great day. Had Joshua as the guide, couldnt have asked for a better person to show us around. No rush, no fuss. Just smiles and a great time. Highlight was taking a boat tour around the lake. Thank you Camillo for adding Maria on to the trip last minute.

Amazing Day Trip
What a fantastic day trip to Guatapé! Joshua was a fantastic guide — calm, professional, and quick on his feet when a cycling race closed off our route, turning a detour into part of the adventure. Beautiful scenery, a great coffee tour, and an experience I won’t forget!

Camilo is the best
Camilo was amazing. I started off my day with the airline losing my luggage but Camilo made me forget about that. He is patient, does all the small details, and really looks out for his group. I would 100% recommend.
