I recommend Elysia tour because the organization was perfect. Wonderful trip, we saw marvelous landscapes accompanied by an excellent and competent guide named Alvaro, always available to solve any problem. We did a six-day tour.

The Golden Circle is one of the most accessible tours in all seasons of the year. It is a journey that will bring you through Icelandic history and culture immersed in the breathtaking landscapes of this land between Geysers, tectonic plates and picturesque waterfalls.
In demand: 11 of the next 13 departures are already sold out.
From the operator’s live schedule on Viator, checked Oct 13.
The first scheduled stop is right next to the tectonic plates that frame the Þingvellir National Park. Included in the UNESCO World Heritage, this site has a significant historical, geological and cultural significance. It was right here, in fact, that in 930 AD the Alþing: the first democratic parliament in the history of humanity took place. The tectonic fault that crosses the entire national park is also located right on the shores of the lake. Þingvallavatn which is also the largest lake in the nation. The time frame includes transportation.
The second stop on our journey will be in the Geysir geothermal area, located in the Haukardalur valley about an hour drive from Þingvellir. This area of fumaroles was formed about 10,000 years ago as a result of seismic events and tectonic movements, forming these eruptive cones from boiling water. Geysir is the name of the main cone of this area from which the generic name of geysers from all over the world derives. Although Geysir is currently dormant, in the same area, the geyser ”Strokkur“ erupts every 5-10 minutes on average. In this area, in addition to the Strokkur eruptions, you can sense the smell and see the colors of the crystallized minerals that mark the intense geothermal activity characteristic of the island.
The last main stop on our tour is the famous Gullfoss waterfall (golden waterfall). Located along the course of the Hvitá River whose source originates from Langjökull (second largest glacier in Iceland), Gullfoss is one of the most famous waterfalls on the island with its 32-meter jump. Another story about this waterfall occurred at the beginning of the last century, when investors expressed their desire to build a hydroelectric power plant, thus going to “close” the waterfall. It was precisely thanks to the environmental protest of Sigriður Tómasdóttir (daughter of the owner of the land where the waterfall is located) that this project was never carried out, still giving us the opportunity to visit this enchanting place nowadays.
Still untouched by mass tourism, the canyon of Brúarhlöð, stands out on the banks of the Ölfusá river, which originates right from the Gullfoss waterfall. This slightly less touristy canyon is a perfect destination to stop and eat our packed lunch.
Iceland is rich in natural hot springs. In order to offer you a unique experience full of emotions, we at Elysia Tours will take you to a natural pool, outside the most touristic itineraries.

I recommend Elysia tour because the organization was perfect. Wonderful trip, we saw marvelous landscapes accompanied by an excellent and competent guide named Alvaro, always available to solve any problem. We did a six-day tour.
Organization both internally and by Elisya tour was highly appreciated... we saw everything there was to see... clearly in this type of tour with many people, the privacy of more particular excursions is penalized a bit!! Our guide, however, made up for it a lot and took us to even less touristy places!! So... great experience!!
Lorenzo was the best guide I have ever met. Helpful, kind, very well-prepared... I don't think I will have someone like him again.
The trip to Iceland was simply beautiful, an unforgettable experience among spectacular landscapes, pristine nature, and truly evocative places. A special thanks to Lorenzo, an impeccable, competent, and always available guide. He knew how to accompany us with professionalism and friendliness, demonstrating great attention to the group's needs and maximum willingness to adapt the route and the program to our requests. His experience and ability to manage every situation with flexibility contributed significantly to making the trip even more pleasant and engaging. An experience definitely to be recommended and, why not, to be repeated!
We have just returned from an exciting trip to Iceland. (lasting about ten days, with a complete tour of the RING ROAD). We first turned to Viaggi e Miraggi, which put us in touch with Francesco P. (an excellent organizer in every detail). The added value of the tour was our local guide: Lorenzo (from Elysia tour). A well-prepared, empathetic leader, a great connoisseur of the territory and the customs and traditions of the island. His guidance was always attentive and responsible, providing answers and suggestions for every eventuality. Also thanks to his stories, we got to know authentic ICELAND. A big thank you.
Beautiful tour with fabulous people Elisia tour managed the entire tour perfectly. Congratulations to Michele and Ilaria
We were truly thrilled with this experience! Ilaria was simply wonderful: super available, very kind, and extremely knowledgeable. She enriched the entire journey by sharing many anecdotes and curiosities, answering every question with a smile. The tour itself is splendid, and there was also a beautiful surprise stop that I don't want to spoil for anyone, but it made everything even more special! Also noteworthy is the quality-price ratio: it costs less than many other alternatives out there, but the quality is significantly higher (compared to the stories and complaints of other tourists we met during the trip who chose different agencies). Highly recommended, worth every penny! Thanks again to Ilaria and Michele!
I would say that such an experience is worth doing, even for seafarers like us, the guys of Elysia just fantastic .Marco with the south coast of Vik and the Golden Circle has followed us patiently (he knows it) and educated us to perfection on every detail of these fantastic places ...Michele made us discover a Reykjavik that alone we would never have imagined , only regret is that we could not see the northern lights because of the climatic conditions, pretext, to return to see Silver Circle always with this young, organized and dynamic Elysia tour. Very good!
I loved every moment of this trip, the differences in landscapes and colors at close ranges, even the cold and windy weather. I could not choose what is the most beautiful place I have seen because they are all unique and wonderful. A huge thank you to Lorenzo for his sympathy and for being an attentive and helpful guide and to Francesco for his organization. Iceland now has a special place in my memories, I really hope to be able to return. Stefania Amicucci
Traveling to Iceland with them, and with excellent consultants like Ilaria, means being able to capture, even in a few days, the deepest soul of this extraordinary island. Great competence and deep knowledge of the places, culture and customs of this island and one and ability to tell them in an always engaging way. Impeccable organization, great attention to detail and authentic attention to the needs of the traveler. Last but not least, great empathy. Thank you Ilaria, Michele and Fabio, for everything you made us live. Highly recommended.
