Great Guides, they were funny, very helpful and were admeanable to the guests.
Great guides. They really put their best effort forward so we could have a great experience, they were knowledgeable and also very funny. The rafting however was very very tame. We booked the half day Fisher Towers. It was not rafting, it was floating without needing the peddles. The price was around $90 per person (and we were with 4), not worth the money for 1.5 hours of floating around. Again the guides were really great, and I want to thank them.
Thank you for your review and for the kind words about our guides. They really do go that extra mile. We’ll be sure to pass your compliments along. As for the rafting, what you experienced is exactly what was advertise. The Fisher Towers section is a scenic, family-friendly float with a few mild rapids, not a high-adrenaline whitewater trip. By this time of year, the Colorado River is at its lowest flows, making the rapids even more mellow than they are during spring runoff. Our goal is to accurately describe each trip so guests can choose the experience that’s right for them. If you’re looking for bigger whitewater, we encourage visiting in May or early June when the river is at its highest and the rapids are considerably more exciting. We’re glad you enjoyed your time with our guides and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our Fisher Towers full-day rafting trip with Red River Adventures was one of the highlights of our vacation, and our guide, Molly, was a huge reason why! She was hilarious, incredibly knowledgeable, and kept us laughing all day with river guide stories and jokes. One of our favorite parts was when Molly pointed out a Padlé Oarefish. We’d never even heard of one before! She explained they’re unusually flat fish, most commonly yellow with blue, red, or pink accents, and they’re surprisingly well camouflaged along the river. Such a cool thing to learn! She also showed us a rock formation that looked exactly like Winnie the Pooh wearing a beret and breathing fire. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it! The wildlife was unbelievable. We saw bighorn sheep, three otters, geese, blue herons (mud flamingos), a baby deer, a fox catching a fish, and a huge eagle nest. Molly said we’re officially her lucky group because they usually only see a couple of those animals, and she’d never seen the deer or the fox on a trip before. Lunch was fantastic too! The “conewiches” were surprisingly delicious. We were a little hesitant because we’d never tried Mediterranean food before, but the homemade Mediterranean salad with feta and kettle chips folded into a tortilla absolutely rocked. I’m still wishing I had Molly’s recipe! If you’re thinking about rafting in Moab, book the Fisher Towers trip with Red River Adventures. If you get Molly as your guide, consider yourself lucky. You’ll leave with great memories, sore cheeks from laughing, and probably a newfound appreciation for the rare and majestic Padlé Oarefish. Oh, and I t’s officially Hank’s Bubble Bath in our book.
This was our 2nd trip with Red River, and like the first, we had great a time. Everyone was great, friendly, and made the experience very enjoyable. Shout out to Emily, who was our guide, she was awesome!
Red River Adventure was awesome from beginning to end. Very easy to get all the waivers signed online before your trip. The guides were fun and friendly. If you want a better rafting experience, this is the company to book with. The smaller rafts are way better than the other rafting companies that have much larger rafts. Definitely going to book with Red River Adventure again.
Full day rafting with lunch. We had a great day on the water, despite lower than average water levels. Our guide, Anna, was excellent. Highly recommend if you are looking for an alternative to hiking the parks.
Amazing guides , yummy lunch . Erin and Dave were knowledgeable and fun. Safety was impeccable. Thank you
An unforgettable day on the river! We had a group of 9 split between two boats, and our experience couldn't have been better—thanks to our incredible guides, Sebastian and Anna. From the moment we set off, they made us feel completely at ease with their deep knowledge of the river, fun conversation, and warm, welcoming energy. They struck the perfect balance between keeping us safe and making the trip feel relaxed and enjoyable. Whether you were 17 or 54 (like our group!), everyone walked away smiling and talking about what a fantastic time we had. We truly couldn’t have asked for better guides to spend the afternoon with.
We had a wonderful time on this trip with the family—full of water fights, keeping everyone refreshed, and pulling each other in for some good laughs. It was a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors, take in the beautiful scenery, and share quality time together. A big thanks to our awesome guides, Jonathan (apologies if that’s misspelled) and Erin, for making the experience even better. I’d definitely return for another rafting adventure with the family.
Fantastic experience- but super hot! Jenna the guide was fabulous. We were a party of 8, but originally 9 (2 families, one teen dropped out). When I called to ask about accommodating our party of 9, Red River offered to add 2 inflatable kayaks along with the 8 person raft. I highly recommend this option for teens & twenty somethings. Our kids (17, 18, 20, 21, 23 and 23) loved trading off riding in the raft & kayaks. Also, the lunch was tasty!
