We had a fantastic time with Ash. He was very knowledgeable of the area and kept us entertained with his stories. Van was very comfortable and plenty of time at the stops
From start to finish this tour was wonderful. We were lucky to have Nathan as our guide. He was so kind and knowledgeable about all of the history of the many different places that we visited throughout the day. He even offered to take some photos of our family while out and about. We saw many different beautiful places.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely the Best Tour Guide! I travel a lot and always book day trips through Viator whenever I visit a new city. This time, I took a tour to the Cotswolds, and Ash was our tour guide. Without a doubt, hands down, he is the best tour guide I have ever had! Ash is funny, professional, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the entire day feel effortless and seamless, while keeping us entertained and making sure we had a fantastic experience. You can tell that he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that makes such a difference. I would honestly book any tour if I knew Ash was going to be the guide, regardless of the destination. If you are considering this tour, book it—and if you get Ash as your guide, you are in for a real treat! I cannot recommend him highly enough. Five stars, without hesitation!
We loved our day in the Cotswolds. Our tour guide, Ash, was phenomenal. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the area and had great food suggestions at each stop, but he was so personable and really made sure everyone was getting the best possible value. Being in a smaller van gave us the opportunity to see the less traveled backroads of the villages which we loved. Would recommend!
Ash was very friendly and knowledgeable. The trip went well and everything was perfect. We enjoyed it very much
The small bus allowed us to get to places that large group buses would not allow. Ash, our guide, was outstanding. The trip is well planned and lots of fun.
This was my first solo trip to England and this trip was perfect and easy to do on my own! Ash was the best driver and guide and made everyone feel welcome and offered to take pics for those of us traveling solo or with families! He knew really great spots and even offered recommendations for other areas of England and other trips. Great day!
Easy booking process Pick up and drop off at a good spot right near Paddington station Vehicle clean and good order Group size of 16 was good little cramped but you can’t have good access to the back roads and have large coach/bus. Ash our driver was very a very safe driver was very knowledgeable with commentary. He was very accommodating as he guided us to certain spots helped with photos and just went that extra mile. We saw lots of beautiful little spots. Timings were comparable to a group tour. You have to keep thinking that this a taster of the area and Ash did that very well by giving us a good taste of the area.
It was a smooth booking process Easy pick up Vehicle was clean and in good order. Smooth ride Lots of great and interesting commentary Good drop off and pick up spots in each town we visited Driver Ash was very accommodating Time was some time tight but you expect this on a group tour Size of group great 16 people A little cramped but not excessive All up great day to get an idea and taste of such a beautiful area
We had a lovely time on this tour! And it has only left me with more eagerness to visit the Cotswolds again, and now I know exactly where I'd like to spend more time. Our guide Paul was really great throughout the journey. The only downside is that a lot was crammed into a single day, and we didn't have as much time to spend in all the locations, so it felt a bit rushed in some aspects. That was to be expected, though! I would still recommend this tour if you want to cover the Cotswolds and Stratford all in one and you're short on time :)
