Full-day Cham Islands Cruise from Hoi An with Underwater Walking Excursion

This tour was one of the best snorkeling experiences I’ve had. The guide Hera was so sweet, attentive and kind. The sea walk is the best under water experience I’ve ever had!!

Tour was wonderful. The underwater walking was very well organised, and as someone who was very nervous about it, I found it very easy.

Thanks to the helpful staff, I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind, and I was able to stay calm throughout. The food on the island is clean, delicious and undisputed. The pickup will be delayed by less than 10 minutes than expected, but they will come, so please stay calm and wait.

Looking for a different excursion than usual, we found this offer with SeaTrek. It’s not cheap, considering the local standard prices, we spent 143 euros in two, but it’s a truly unique experience. They picked us up from the hotel with private transport to the pier and then we took a fast boat to get to the place of the diving excursion. We did the hike and had time to swim and snorkel. Then we moved to the Monkey Bar where we had lunch, good, paying extra for drinks including water. Then I return to Hoi An around 2pm. If you want pictures and videos of the walk filmed by them with GoPro you pay 300,000 Dong (about 10 euros). Walking with some kind of bell on your head is really within everyone's reach physically. There is always a diver nearby.

Going on a weekday is key. There was just about the right amount of people. The visibility in the water was not the best, and the time walking under water was a bit short. Other than that, a great experience!

The underwater walk was so good and to have a tour guide that speaks really good English is such a bonus - 100% would recommend for couples, friends, solo, or family.

Nice staff, good fun. Lunch on Cham Island was very nice. Walking on sea floor was a great experience - would recommend it. Snorkelling at a few different places was good. Good value, great with kids 12-16 yr old

The guide was good, food was also good. But the tour operator contacted us the evening before the trip that the underwater walking was cancelled and transfer would be with a speed boat instead of a traditional boat. He said the walk would be cancelled because of the weather but it was obviously a lie, because the weather was good, there were simply not enough people who signed up for this. And the transfer in the speed boat was a mess, we were put together with another tour and the boat was very full which also had an impact on the snorkeling which was also rather crowded. In the end more time on the beach would have been welcomed by all participants. Snorkeling was OK, not many colors left but some fish and sea stars.

Big disappointment, first of all we booked the walk underwater activity, which later we were informed by email wouldn't be able to do due to low visibility on the water, (when we got to the boat the guide actually said the equipment was broken, so we've been lied to). And we only got refunded 15$ for not having the main attraction of our experience. We also booked a transfer from the hotel, and they have forgotten about it. I had to call early in the morning to get it, and the driver went to the wrong hotel. We only got allowed to snorkel in two locations for a very limited time, after we got to a beach where we had to stay for three hours "free time" and had lunch. On the return to the mainland one of the engines of the speed boat wasn't working, and the boat crew was trying tirelessly putting it back on but not successfully. And they said they were going to proceed with just one engine on the open sea! The whole group refused, as it didn't seem to be safe. So we stopped at the harbour and stayed there for a half hour or until another boat showed up to pick us up. The guide wasn't really a guide he was more just accompanying us as he didn't give us any information about the islands or sea life, or curiosities . Very disappointed with the overall experience.
