The tomb, which is the most famous structure of the Green Complex, was built by Çelebi Sultan Mehmed for Hacı İvaz Pasha in 1421. The tomb took its name “Green” from the blue, green and turquoise colored Iznik tiles, which are referred to in the literature as “Impossible to Produce Ceramics”.

This monumental tree, with a diameter of 3 m and a height of 35 m, has 13 main branches. The plane tree, whose branches are 3-4 meters thick, is one of the oldest trees in Turkey with a circumference of 9.2 meters.

I joined the Full Day Bursa tour, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire, and we visited both historical places. At the end of the 30-minute ride by cable car, we visited the ski resort at the top of Uludağ and went to the 600-year-old historical Inkaya plane tree. It was a very nice trip. Thank you.
