From Paphos: Aphrodite's Baths and Blue Lagoon (Akamas) Day Trip
Description
The program includes two exciting trips: a bus trip and then a sea cruise on a ship. We will see a unique natural landscape, which form sea caves. We go to a small shady garden, where there is a grotto with a romantic name - the Bath of Aphrodite. Another stop is the fishing village of Latchi, from whose port we will continue our journey by ship to the blue lagoon.

Boat trip to the blue lagoon: the opportunity to see the coastal zone of the Akamas reserve from the sea, as well as bathing and snorkeling in crystal clear water
A small fishing village, from where we will take a boat trip to Blue
In the shady garden there is a grotto where water flows down a wall of rock and forms a pool amongst the moss. It is here that legend says Aphrodite would come to bathe. According to Greek mythology, she met her lover Adonis at the pool when he stopped for a drink while hunting. This is UNESCO world heritage site.

For some of hotels in Paphos we provide pick up points within 3-5 min walk/drive ( due to accessibility limits to hotel and logistic reasons ) For those who stay in apartments we try to provide pick up points as close as possible. !Important! We are unable to pick up from following hotels and areas : Royal Blue hotel, Yeroskipou, Club St.George Cap. St.George Aphrodite Hills Aphrodite Sands resort Mandria and Pissouri, Argaka, Polis areas For these places we can arrange private transfer for additional Charges

Pros: Gallina, our guide, was wonderful and the glass of wine/fruit in the boat was a nice touch. Places seen were as promised and communication with the tour agency was great. Cons: the bus smelled like an ashtray and there were simply too many people on the tour. Trying to get on/off the boat to swim was like fighting for your life…people pushing and shoving, children screaming…truly crazy! This kind of tour is fine for rowdy groups with kids, but would not recommend for solos or couples.
Blue lagoon was amazing, beautiful and plenty of opportunity for swimming. Tour stops interesting and great photo opportunities. Kids 12 and 14 enjoyed it too!
I went on several tours with ConstrucTours when in Cyprus. A great way to the country via day trips. this particular day trip was delightful. The Blue Lagoon was truly blue. We had a chance to swim in the Mediterranea, followed by a complimentary glass of wine! This was the highlight of the day. The bus picked me up and returned me to my hotel. My only concern is not enough time to make the walk to Aphrodite's baths, enjoy the sight, and return to the bus. another 10-15 minutes is needed.
Liked the guide very well. Cosy and nice trip, is definitely recommended. Perfect if you are concerned with a little culture combined with kos.

A really excellent experience and great value for money. Aphrodites Baths was a relatively quick stop, but given the heat of the day, was a perfect duration. The Blue Lagoon element was clearly the highlight. Our boat the Latchi Queen was a perfect size - at capacity but never felt overcrowded. The crystal blue waters are amazing to swim in. Really good waters for young children too and the boat staff very helpful. Life jackets for anybody who felt they were needed for the swim. Children really well catered for. After disembarking, we were taken by our coach to the lovely village/town of Polis Chrysochous. The recommended tavern of Moustakallis was brilliant. A lovely family restaurant with traditional Cypriot food and welcomes. The Kleftiko I had was gorgeous. Still has time to walk the very short distance to the centre of the village with other eateries, 3 (from memory) gelato stores (tasted great) and a few quality gift shops. Some nice photo opportunities too…. A final ‘coffee stop’ was made prior to drop offs where you could view the sea caves, shipwreck and view a banana plantation. All fascinating, but easily coveted in the 30 minute stop! Was a great trip - nice to climb up out of Paphos and the views from the coach were great. A really nice way to see more of the Island. Anna was extremely professional, polite and accommodating. I was the only solo traveller on that excursion so she made sure to seat me at the front so I would be safe under her eye. This excursion was amazing, really does tire you out though as it’s a full day! I met two lovely ladies along the way, and the views / blue lagoon especially was incredible, really really lovely excursion. Please go if you’re thinking about it! You won’t regret it.
