Montmorency falls is spectacular! Quebec City is charming. This is French Canada, but Canada dominates in style and common feeling. I reduce 1 point because guide said what exact seats we should occupy in the bus but I prefer choose them myself for my money. And be prepare for 5 hours free time in Quebec City.
Overall, this was a successful trip. The guide was wonderful and the opportunity to see both the falls and have a short tour in the city before free time for exploration was well balanced. However, the hotel pick-up left something to be desired because the car leaked from the roof, and despite being picked up 30 minutes before the bus left, we were rushed like cattle when finally being dropped off. But my real complaint was that we were not allowed to eat or drink on the bus and told not to use the bathroom except maybe in emergency. And the bus was nice but not that nice for 6 hours of commuting. The whole point of taking a bus is so you can relax and enjoy yourself but this was much more a means to an end.
A perfect way to see Quebec City for those with limited time. We were picked up from our hotel at the exact time and transferred to the bus. The driver and guide (Angela) were great! We had plenty of time to view and enjoy the Falls, and ample free time in Quebec City Old Town after the guided tour. Personally, I did not think the optional boat ride was worth it. The boat just went in slow circles in a small area and it was hard to hear the guide. Spend the time exploring or enjoying Happy Hour. The return trip was also smooth and right on time. Highly recommend!
The tour of Quebec City with our escort and the guide was informative. On the other hand, the cruise in Quebec City was useless; upon reflection, staying in Quebec City during the time of the cruise would have been a better choice for us.
It was the discovery of breathtaking scenery, the trip was very well organized and the guide competent and very kind. An unforgettable memory!
The tour was good overall, but I think a few things could be improved. It would be helpful to explain clearly at the time of purchase that the portion of the tour after Old Québec is self-guided and that guests will be exploring on their own. Also, since you recommended several places for us to visit, it would be very helpful to provide a clear map or detailed directions for getting to those locations and back to the designated pick up location. Other than that, we enjoyed the tour and had a good experience.
Very glad we did an excursion from Montreal. You will see Quebec in a few hours so fortunately no hotel booked there. Is beautiful historic center and fine to do with this bus trip
We was are staying in Montreal and wanted a day trip to Quebec City. This tour was perfect. Our pick up spot was feet from our hotel. Angela was very sweet and informative. You stop on the way to the falls and Morency falls was also very nice! Quebec City was great. An all around good time.
Well organized, good value for the money. Worthwhile!
Very long trip with very little insight about the things to see except the tour guide in Quebec City . He was great but maybe a microphone would have helped a little with a tour group of 50 people . The pick up from my hotel and drop off were great . I did not car for the main tour guide on the bus , unprofessional and sloppily dressed with holes in his shoes . I don’t know how to avoid such things , it was the luck of the draw I suppose .
