Great tour, great value for money. Authentic and interesting. Tour guide Charaf was great and pick up was prompt!
Thank you so much for your review! 😊 We’re glad you enjoyed an authentic and interesting experience with Charaf, and that the pickup was timely. Your feedback means a lot! 🌄✨
We booked this tour the day before after having to cancel a different one due to weather. I cannot emphasize enough how lucky we feel to have spent the day with Elhussain. Eating lunch in his family home in the Atlas mountains is an experience we'll never forget. He was fantastic with our kids (two boys, 7 and 8) and really made us feel like he cared about us. I was able to stop on our way down the mountain and buy a Berber table runner even though shopping is not part of the actual "experience". Ending with a camel ride was a fun time but I definitely questioned the ethical nature of this bit (no fault of this tour or guide). I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to spend the day with a local who loves his village and culture. Also, our driver Jamal was great, and we felt very safe the whole time.
Thank you Ibri for a wonderful trip to your part of the world including your village and your family home. The area is beautiful, and, glad to say, appears to be recovering well from the earthquake. Thank you for a great hike, giving a hand (literally) on the hike when needed (ha...more than I'd like to admit!!) and the history/information. This day was our highlight! (On a side note, we did this trip but without the camel ride due to animal welfare concerns when we booked the tour. Ibri did tell us he has since found a family who does care really well for their camels. I appreciate Ibri taking the time to search out and employ people who treat the animals well). Highly recommend day...so glad we did this tour!
Fantastic guide in sympathy, description, attention to all participants and authentic knowledge because it is natural from one of the villages of the Atlas, where we lunch at the family home. An extraordinary fact in Morocco was that there was no pressure to make purchases.
On the day of our excursion to Essaouira, we talked with Hamid about our future program, namely to hike in the Atlas, what a good idea! Being an old editing guide, and resident in the Atlas itself, he knows these mountains like his pocket, and has introduced us to things we would never have had the chance to see without him. Thank you to him for these wonderful moments, he is a person of exceptional kindness. In 2 days he knew how to organize everything carefully and propose us an exceptional day, as close as possible to our requests for sport (distance / difficulty / elevation gain) as personal (private transport / views / meals at personalized altitude). Speaking very good English, and understanding French, it was very easy to talk with him, and learn a lot about Moroccan traditions. This day spent with him was the best of our stay in Morocco. Thanks. As a bonus, we had the right to visit the carpet cooperative in his village. We hope that he will develop his editing guide business because the proposed day was perfect
A wonderful journey! From the Berber village to the little hike in the Atlas Mountains, passing by a stopover to eat a delicious tagine without forgetting the little camel excursion .. Only one word to say: unforgettable! A big thank you to our guide who allowed us to make this wonderful getaway and who was very open to all the questions we had! Roman and Sophie
An indispensable experience to get a true idea of Morocco. In a single day El Housseim will make you discover a generous, authentic, natural and beautiful Morocco far from the clichés of Marrakech. You will be charmed by landscapes throughout the day and in all seasons. Above all you will see the real life of the mountain Berbers, the activities of the women, children and men of this country who will welcome you with open arms with simplicity and kindness. The organization and itinerary offered by Atlas dream is exceptional and El Housseim is incredible to transmit the passion of its region. Trust and wonder guaranteed!
Elhoussain is a very professional and passionate guide. We spent a wonderful day with family. The route and the discovery of the village of Imlil remain an excellent memory.
While I was studying abroad, I knew Morocco was somewhere I wanted to travel. Once deciding to go to Marrakesh, I started to look for activities. I was recommended this tour from another friend studying abroad. I am SO happy I did this. It is still one of my fondest memories of abroad and Elhoussain was better than any guide I could've asked for. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience I will never forget.
What a wonderful trip. Saw the most beautiful sights and had an amazing, home cooked meal on top of the Atlas Mountains. Definitely a highlight of our overall trip. Thank you so much Elhoussain
