The trip with Admet was very fun. He was always attentive to the details to provide the best service. Without a doubt, I would go again; he gave us the best experience. 100/10
Do NOT use this tour company and RUN AWAY if you get Ahmed as your guide. He is very dishonest. Our personal bottles of water would be TAKEN from our bags and put into store shop coolers “to get cool - I will cool the water for you”. But when we went to get them back out, the shop owner wanted to charge us!!! Most of my precious water went missing. I NEEDED the water for teeth brushing and drinking. I ended up very dehydrated!!! We also stopped at several liquor stores and stocked up. I purchased 4 bottles of wine and 3 bottles of beer. THREE BOTTLES WERE STOLEN AND ONE OF THE BEERS!!! These are hard to get and expensive!! Another person in our group personally witnessed Ahmed TAKING a bottle of wine out of her bag!!!! She NEVER GOT IT BACK!!!! This tour group is not trustworthy!!! The food at the tent camp was terrible!!! They forced us to leave earlier than scheduled and we had to miss breakfast that we paid for. He was very aggressive for us to leave. When we tried to ask questions he brushed us off. He also had us stop at every tourist trap stop. We wanted to get there not stop every fifteen minutes.
The trip was exactly as we agreed from the departure in Marrakech to the arrival in Fez. The guides were attentive to everything and to each of the questions and requests we made. Everything was very nice and without any problems. It was a beautiful experience, and we took away the best memory.
The provider did not show up at the appointed date and place. They told us they were unable to provide the service that day, especially for such a small group. We had booked and prepaid the tour weeks in advance, but received no prior notice. When we called them, their response was not appropriate and quite unhelpful. They were even rude and tried to blame us for not calling in advance to reconfirm the reservation. At least Viatour supported us getting a timely refund.
It was a wonderful trip. The first part to Merzouga was nice. I thank Youssef and Karim for showing us cooperatives and tell us a little bit of information about the places we visited. Don't get scared because at the first night you will not stay all tourists from the bus In the same hotel The accommodation in the desert was very nice. It was warm, the AC heated the tent like a champion. Thr night in the desert was nice, with music and dancing around the fire. The camel ride was interesting and we liked it very much. The second part of the trip, from Merzouga to Fez was a little bit off. We didn't go by the itinerary. We didn't visit Iframe and neither the forest with the monkeys. It was a little bit chaotic the trip to Fez because we have switched drivers and nobody could tell us who are we assigned to. After 20 min we have found our driver and depart to Fez. The rest of the trip was very nice. Incredible landscapes along the way. It was worth it
Kirsh was our guide to the desert. It made the trip very fun and enjoyable. 💯 We also did the quads, which was much more fun than in Agafai.
Overall a good experience but be flexible. The meeting point in Marrakech Hotel Ali was under renovations when I scouted it the day before. I sent them a pic so they told me to meet Hotel Tazi down the street. They should have informed me themselves. The guide was Abdul and Saeed was the driver. They wanted us to join a whatsapp group which I did not want to as I dont join group chats. Then they wanted us to upload a selfie when we could see everyone on the bus. Day 1 lunch very overpriced 130 Dirhams (13 Euros). I had pizza in Marrakech for 20 dirham and a panini sandwich and fries for 25 dirham so this was way overpriced. First night hotel they claimed I "might not get my own room and would have to share" if there were not enough rooms causing anxiety but luckily I had my own room. Driver Saeed would take the microphone, sing, and clap along while driving with one hand which was not safe. Also they had some private joke about me and tried teasing me so I just avoided them most of the trip. Camel trekking was quite nice. I had my private room with own shower. There were no plug outlets except for one USB that did not work properly. The evening camp music was very amateur and poorly organized. Lunch was a buffet also overpriced again at 120 Dirham when I had been buying food on Marrakesh for below 30 Dirham. Next morning 6am departure was not properly explained. I thought it was a joke and I was still in bed so had to rush and gather all my stuff when the camp had completely cleared so I missed breakfast. I did the dune buggy ATV back instead of camel which was quite fun. I was the only one transferring to Fes from our group while the rest went back to Marrakesh. Originally the guide said it was 70 Euros extra so I had the tour company message him that I had already paid for Fes transfer. They put us in a 7 person smaller taxi that did not have windows that open but I was in a good spot so ok. Lunch again was an expensive restaurant 100 Dirham but we found somewhere across the street for half price. Overall a good experience, they delivery everything in itinerary. Just be prepared it can be a bit of a party bus and there may be some teasing involved. Lunches are very overpriced compare to what I pay for food in Marrakech, Fes or other cities. If you are not going back to Marrakesh and going to Fes make sure the guide is aware as I was the only one.
Overall great experience but just some minor items. Meeting point in Marrakech Hotel Ali was under construction when I scouted it out and they told me to goto Hotel Tazi down the street instead. We had Abdul/Saeed as the guide/driver. They made us join a whatsapp group chat and upload a selfie which I did not want to do as I do not join any group chats, mostly people uploading their pics during trip. Lunch was 130 dirham when I had the same pizza in Marrakesh for 20 dirham so food options overpriced. Same on day 2 where lunch again was 120 dirham. I can get a panini sandwich with fries in town for only 25 dirham so these tourist prices are quite high. First night hotel was good but we arrived quite late. Dinner included. Second night we did the camel trek and stayed in the tents. I had private tent with ensuite shower. Next morning departures 6am was not properly communicated, i thought they were joking and was sleeping in. The evenings campfire music was very amateur and not rehearsed. Return trip I did the dune buggy instead of camel trek back. I was the only one in group going to Fes which I had to explain to guide and have the tour company explain to him as he didnt know and thought we are all going back to Marrakech. Like other reviews say they put you in a smaller 7 passenger van that is quite hot with windows that do not open much. They took us to another expensive restaurant for lunch but this time we had options so we went across the road for half price. Overall good tour but just be prepared to be a bit flexible. A bit of a "party bus" so just go with the flow.
The experience was great. However, we were with our group for the first day. But stayed at different hotels. Back together the next day until we arrived at the place where we getting an unforgettable experience.on the camels. Got to the camp, ate and sat and watched the Berber music show. But again got separated from the group and our camp was in a different site. We were well looked after but the information was not clear as to why all these changes were happening . We reserved the luxury tents. Maybe that’s why. The next day we were with a totally different group once again to go home.
The tour itself was nice, but it's hard to give a rating about this specific one due to the way everything is organized. They clearly take any booking for similar tours and put them all together in random groups. The guide didn't seem to have the information related to my booking (like type of camp, final destination) and it ultimately seems kind of useless to have those options if they are not taken into consideration. Overall I would still recommend, but make sure to check that your choices are respected.
