3 HOURS IN COYOACÁN, MUSEUM ENTRY 3 HRS 15 MINS AFTER START
Discover Frida Kahlo's museum and neighborhood from a different point of view: top landmarks, beautiful parks, street art, colorful markets and unforgettable photos.
We'll walk through Coyoacán - Frida and Diego Rivera's neighborhood, and first capital of New Spain until 1523 - with a break for churros and atole in a colorful plaza, plus tostadas and aguas frescas in the market. We end at the Frida Kahlo Museum, where you're free to explore at your own pace.
PLEASE BLOCK OUT 4 HOURS, NOT 3 - the walk is 3 hours plus your time in the museum. Coyoacán is around 30 min from other neighborhoods, so don't schedule anything too tight after.

Great experience! Wear walking shoes.
It was fantastic! Great intro to Coyoacán neighborhood. Maria is a superb guide who was very funny and a great story teller who knows her history inside and out. She’s very engaging and such a delight as a guide. Great experience. Perfect compliment as opposed to going to the Casa Azul only (this was in fact the only we could get tkts to it, and it was EVEN better than expected). So very happy we did. !! Highly recommended.

5 Star Frida Tour
Cedrela was an excellent tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about Frida Kahlo’s life, as well as her work as an artist and activist. I learned about her contributions to the feminist movement too. She brought us to two different markets for some delicious quesadillas, tostadas, and agua frescas. We also got fresh churros while exploring Jardín Hidalgo. I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about Frida, while trying some amazing food and learning about Coyoacán. 5 stars for Cedrela!

Great tour of the area
Rosa was a fun and interesting guide. She explained the area and history very well. And made sure to find shade and seats for the group when possible. The food on the tour was sooo good. She called ahead so the vendors had food ready for us and also gave us a little time to walk around while she obtained food.
Rosa was good with children and adults. I highly recommend this tour, learning more about Frida and Diego before going to the museum was so helpful. And La Casa Azul was the least interesting part of the tour, so that tells you how good the rest of the tour was. I would recommend!
