10/10 perfume making experience
Did this with my dad this morning and it was honestly so fun. You learn how perfume actually works (the whole top/heart/base notes thing — way more interesting than I expected) and then you get to mix your own. There are close to 5k possible combinations, and since you control the exact percentages of each, the possibilities are endless. I changed my mind about mine like five times. Bringing home a perfume I made myself is probably my favorite souvenir from the whole trip.

Our Favorite Paris Souvenir Is a Perfume We Made Ourselves
We had such a wonderful experience at Candora in Paris! It was so much fun learning about how perfume is made, how different scents work together, and the incredible depth and layers that go into creating a fragrance.
The best part was getting to create our own unique scent. Joss and I each made a fragrance that is completely our own, and we’ve been wearing them everywhere since! We’ve already gotten so many compliments on them, which makes the experience even more special.
Emmanuel was wonderful — knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole experience so much fun. We learned a lot and left with something truly personal that we’ll always have as a memory of our time in Paris.
Highly, highly recommend the Candora perfume-making experience to anyone visiting Paris. It was absolutely wonderful and definitely one of our favorite experiences!

It was fun and educational plus you ended up with a personalized scent. They even can try to recreate a scent you like if you have a sample!

One of the highlights of our weekend
I wanted to do something a little different, so I booked a private perfume making afternoon for me and my wife.
on a roasting hot day in an air-conditioned room, Emmanuel was fantastic. He spoke to us about different scents, the history of perfume in Paris, and gave us several scents to try and guess what they were (it's harder than you think!).
We created our own scents and Emmanuel even etched the bottles for us with the names and fonts we wanted. Even better - you get a code so you can re-order them!
Worth every penny.
A thoroughly enjoyable experience and one of the highlights of our weekend.

Great for kids/tweens/teens
Excellent experience. My daughters (11 and 12) said it was the highlight of our Paris trip! Remember you will need to check your custom perfume in your bag to bring back if flying to US
