Description
With A Paddle in Paradise, you’ll enjoy one of the most authentic and intimate bioluminescent kayak and paddle board tours in Florida. Unlike large outfitters that pack 25+ people into one group, we keep tours small—around 12 guests, with a 15-person max—offering a peaceful, personalized experience and better views of the glowing water. We are close to Cocoa Beach and Orlando.
Each tour is locally guided by Nate, Jess or Jeff, giving you a laid-back, guest-first vibe where you're treated like a friend, not a number. Paddle under the stars through the Indian River Lagoon, one of the only places in the world where bioluminescent dinoflagellates and comb jellies light up the water.

An event you won’t regret!
Really cool! Definitely recommend. It’s almost impossible to capture a good video or picture alone, you need someone with you to capture the video or picture for you. The experience in person far exceeds the photos. Jess was great, she was fun and knowledgeable.
One tip, departure areas may differ so try to get there early. You may get lost and need to ask someone where your group is. It’s not a simple address when you get there.

Glow on Indian River
A very nice experience. Easy paddling on raised boards with seats. You only get wet getting on to board and off. The bioluminescent organisms were hard to see at first but when you paddle into dark areas, it was much easier. The hard part was finding the company. There were more than a half dozen companies all departing out of the park. I would do this again. Guide was very knowledgeable. Note there were several departure times.

Amazing experience and Communication
This was an amazing experience. Both Cindy and Nate were amazing and extremely helpful. Highly recommended. The paddle boats are also unique and much more comfortable than normal kayaks which is a HUGE plus. Cindy (our guide) was very knowledgeable about the area and the spots to hit and they took pictures throughout themselves which took the load off of us and allowed us to enjoy the experience. Thank you Nate and Cindy!

A must do experience!
Wow!!! This is a MUST DO experience!!! We had a blast...the amount of bioluminescent activity we saw was off the charts. The weather was perfect, flat calm with a hint of breeze. Our guide was amazing...full of interesting information about the area and the wildlife. We had an easy paddle out and back...never rushed. Bonus: our paddle boards had the most comfortable seats ever!! Highly recommend!!!

Nature at Its Most Magical!
My daughter and I had an absolute blast! Seeing the bioluminescence glowing in the water was incredible, and the comb jellies were so fascinating to see up close.
Our guide and her son were both so sweet, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The seats on the paddle board were also surprisingly comfortable, which made it so easy to just sit back, relax, and take in the experience.
Such a fun and unique adventure for me and my daughter! We would definitely do this again!

Signage and parking
Arrive at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure because the signage is terrible and a bunch of different companies offer the same service at the same location.

Awesome experience! Must see!
While we expected to see the waters glow it wasn't like that but it was an awesome experience nevertheless. Jess did a great job helping to put newbies to paddling at ease. Her botes (yes spelled like that) were unique and allowed much room for looking around. Very stable and comfortable. The Jellies were particularly fascinating and glowed like plasma balls when touched. The waters glowed with each stroke of the paddle. We saw a friendly Manatee welcoming us as a bonus. Jess took extra trouble to take photos for us. All in all a treasured experience. Will do it again.
