Very nice to see Florence from the bike. Quick way to get an overview, especially when it's hot. The English of the guide was difficult to understand. That was a shame because you miss explanations at the stops.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the city and pointed out a lot of great places. We rode up to one of the highest points in the city and the view was spectacular. We would definitely do this again.
hilarious e bike through Florence Entirely enjoying it with husband and 3 teens who rated it high compared with previous walking tours Andrea our guide was great safety conscious and entertaining Molto grazie Andrea
We are regular cyclists but this tour really challenged us. Firstly the ebikes are not in good condition. Some are missing proper kickstands, batteries were not all fully charged, and we had mechanical issues like a dropped chain to deal with. Secondly the tour guide struggled to keep the - too large - group together in a safe formation, with some of the group disregarding requests to stay in a particular order/ to ride at certain speeds, and the tour guide was inconsistent regarding road rules, sometimes stopping at red lights and sometimes sailing straight thru them. Finally, the tour locations are so busy, it is very difficult to cycle safely around the city, which really compromises how much you can relax and enjoy the tour. All these issues aside, we are still glad we did a cycle tour, as we did get to see sights we wouldn't otherwise have reached, particularly the Michelangelo viewpoint. Just be prepared for the challenges the trip will present.
Fat tyre bikes Water provided but had to ask Good route taking you up to Michelangelo statue Squeaky brakes though
The electric bikes where perfect! Nice way to see the city with a little breeze at your face. If you are tired of walking definitely try this out!
Yaniel was an excellent guide. The bikes seemed in great condition and were comfortable, easy to navigate around town (using the bell!) despite the crowds, and powerful enough to easily get us up a winding green shady path to a wonderful viewing point to finish the tour. We got to see Florence’s major sights and were told some very interesting facts about them along the way, and our guide took some great photos of us. The streets are uneven in places so occasionally it can be a bit of a bumpy ride, but that’s part of the fun. I wouldn’t recommend the tour if you are a not a competent bike rider, you need to weave around pedestrians. Our group was two only couples and it was a sunny May afternoon, lucky on both counts. Very glad we did this tour.
It’s amazing, an amazing experience
Very nice bike ride through the city so you can see a lot of places within 2 hours. Nice guide with a lot of knowledge about the city.
Nice city to discover by bike. Still, the tour was disappointing. The tour guide lacked enthusiasm and had little regard for the group. We were a group of 16 with 1 guide which was little for the sometimes dangerous traffic situations. The tour was without helmets, which I have not had before abroad. Been to nice places, but the guide talked mainly while cycling which was not easy to understand.
