Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm

This cooking activity was a major highlight of our trip in Italy! Luca, Gloria, and Cristina, our chefs for the day, were all amazing! The countryside was beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious; I'm heading to the store today to buy ingredients to make the salsiccia sauce at home. I intend to book a similar experience next time I'm in Florence!

The trip to the cooking site is about 40 minutes away. Tony met us at the train station and walked us to where the bus transported us. Tony is very friendly and outgoing. He explained exactly what we would be doing. When we arrived we were greeted by Camilla & Alessia our two instructors. They are very sweet and entertaining. We were given wine and an appetizer. We were brought into the kitchen where they demonstrated the steps we were to follow. Each person received a cooking apron and a location to prepare your own pasta. Everyone around us was very friendly. The 3 instructors then circulated as we each began to prepare our pasta. Once we finished we went outside where Tony had prepared our gelato making experience. We were taught the process. Everyone made a different flavor. We all returned to the kitchen and participated in making the different sauces. After everything was cooked, we went outside to a beautiful seating area. We all sat down family style and truly enjoyed our meal, plenty of wine and gelato. This is an excellent experience.

The experience is a must do for Florence, because of the amazing food and even better hospitality. I dropped my ring in-between a crack in the patio and within 30 minutes they unscrewed the floorboard received it. I don't any other group would do the same thing or show the same level of service. Everyone was very funny and really knew how to engage with the audience.

Great tour. Our chef Luca was an absolute blast! The farm house was beautiful. Pasta making is easier than we we expected. The 16 flavors we all made of Gelato were fascinating. Highlight of our Italy trip.

Cris, Tiziano and Lodovik were our chefs and they were amazing. So funny, so in sync with each other. They made us laugh the entire class while also teaching us how to make incredible pizza and gelato!! Would 1000% recommend to anyone who loves pizza or gelato or who just wants to spend an evening in the Tuscan countryside. The farm was beautiful, the food was delicious, and fun was had by all. 10/10.

Max, Tiziano, and Lodovik were so much fun. It felt like having a trio of comedians teaching you throughout the experience. The atmosphere was beautiful, and making the food was an experience in itself. They kept everything both informative and entertaining from start to finish. The best part was getting to enjoy everything we made. I especially liked rotating between making pizza and gelato because it kept things moving and made the time fly by. The group size was perfect, not too large, and I felt the price was well worth it for everything we did, ate, and learned. We were surprised to walk away saying that this was one of the best parts of our trip to Italy. Highly recommend!

Great fun learning how to make pizza and gelato in a beautiful Tuscan environment accompanied by a nice Chianti to enhance the experience.

This was a very fun class to take with our family of 4. My kids loved making pasta and gelato for the first time. Gloria, Alesia, and Toni were great. Would recommend.

We were met by a larger than life character called Luca and travelled in an air conditioned bus to the farm. Lots of wonderful scenary on the way. At the farm we were welcomed by the team with wine, water and bruschetta. We then had a demo of the dishes we would be making. Excellent hands on help at all times by Cilla and Coco. Delicious meal and gelato served at the end before returning to meeting point by coach. Definately recommend this as a fun activity creating delicious pasta and gelato.
