Here you will begin a tour of the non-touristy places in the center of Cartagena, where you will find the foods that accompany the daily life of the locals and that tell many of the stories of the city. Prepare for a gastronomic adventure
For most Cartageneros, tasting a cocada or a milk doll is a way of transporting them back to their childhood. Try the most traditional sweets made by hand and with local fruits.
In this park located in the middle of the city you will find a great variety of fauna such as monkeys, birds and iguanas among others. They are not always in sight and are not very friendly with people, but our guide knows them very well, so he knows where they are and has earned their trust, so we can share our fruit with them.

What a great time we had. Our tour guide took us to the food carts and small restaurant fronts inside and outside of the walled portion of the city. Great food and great knowledge of the city and its history. We loved our time and the food was truly authentic.

The service provider never showed up. No Email, no call to advise. Ruined the little time we had in Cartagena.
Tavo was an excellent guide and we at until we were quite full! We had a great time walking through Cartagena and learning about the culture. Really a fantastic time.
Tavo was great host. We all had so much fun trying new things from street vendors. Recommend you do it early in your trip and come hungry!
