Fjord Hiking - Public tour

My husband and I joined the hike to Hananipa in late August with one other participant and our guide, Jannis. The hike was more challenging than expected, with some muddy and steep sections, but the stunning fjord views made it completely worth it. The mist along the way made the scenery even more beautiful and atmospheric. A truly memorable experience. Thank you, Jannis!:）

We had an amazing tour with Jannis to Hananipa. Since we speak both English and German, it was a very nice touch that the tour could be conducted in German as well. It was quite foggy during our trip, but instead of ruining the view, the mist actually added a mysterious and wonderful charm to the whole experience. We truly connected with the Norwegian nature, learned a lot about the local plants, and ran into flocks of sheep along the way. On top of that, we were treated to a small, thoughtful lunch that was prepared with great care and dedication. The tranquil atmosphere made this entire journey a beautiful example of being in the here and now, filled with mindfulness. Highly recommended!

It was a great experience despite it being our first hike ever! Yanis was very helpful and very patient. Always made everyone feel comfortable. The views were fantastic and the weather cooperated! Bring hiking sticks for first timers. Bring energy food and drinks. Wear hiking shoes.

The hike is somewhat challenging, the terrain is rocky, muddy and some sticks and tree roots on the trail. The views are magnificent and our guide was terrific.

Wonderful hike up to Olnessata peak! We had beautiful weather with just a few rain sprinkles and had the whole mountain to ourselves . Our guide was knowledgeable, informative and helpful. Be prepared for some mud if it rains and potential slippery spots. The climb is with the spectacular fjords views! Must go if in the area!

Our guide, Daniel, was very well prepared and knowledgeable. He was really patient and helpful with us on the moderately difficult trail. We hiked up to a beautiful view on Mt. Hananipa. Lots of rocks and mud on the trail but we enjoyed perfect, cool weather after a rainy drive to the trailhead. All in all, had a great experience!

The hike was wonderful...our guide, Kari Linn, was knowledgeable and helpful. There were supposed to be four hikers but only two of us showed up. We had a great time and both the guide and the other hiker who were younger than me were not concerned with my slowness. The weather was fabulous, views fantastic. I highly recommend it.

We had a lovely hike on one of the islands about an hour out of Bergen. Great views of the fjord and islands. Great guide - David. Highly recommend.

Our guide, Normann, was engaging and informative. He took us via car away from town and out into the mountains. It was a wet and windy day - and it was fabulous! He was conscientious about our safety while taking us on a wild and beautiful hike we couldn’t have found on our own. It was a lovely and memorable experience. Thanks, Normann.

I was really looking forward to this tour, but sadly it got cancelled as not enough people signed up. There were some communication issues as they didn’t seem to be getting my messages via Viator. I also had to contact Viator support to get the refund processed. So overall was a bit stressful experience, though I am sure when the tour does go ahead, it is lovely.
