It was an amazing five days in Zanzibar. The island has so much options for visits and so many tours and operators are there to lure you, which can, at times, feel a bit overwhelming. Having booked with Amahoro Travel (which was recommended by a Zanzibari contact of mine) meant that my partner and I did not need to spend much time thinking what would be best to do or to avoid in the five days we had. Our guide, was very adaptable and took the time to ask us for our preferences so the activities we chose were very suited to what we were in the mood to do. That was very varied (snorkelling, dolphins sighting, chilling on a sandbank and bbq-ing, historical Stone town visits, etc.) and we even managed to memorize a few Kiswahili words that were always putting smiles on people we were meeting. Go without hesitation! Karibu rafiki!
