Had a wonderful trip with Captain Shawn yesterday with my son and his three boys. Shawn was very patient and kind with the boys, teaching them how to cast, baiting their hooks and unhooking their fish. By the end they were (almost) pros at it. They all had great fun, learned a lot and want to go again. I can highly recommend Captain Shawn for your next family adventure!
Wow, another epic day of fishing with Captain Shawn, huge Redfish and Trout. Captain got us straight to our spot and we never left, the fishing was that good. Highly recommend these guys for all your fishing outings, perfect for beginners and experienced anglers. Can’t wait to book again

Shawn was amazing! He is very knowledgeable and takes into account all aspects of fishing! We caught a ton of reds. Shawn creates an experience that is fun and relaxed while teaching you how to real in those big ones. Plus he’ll teach you little fun facts and how to find a good place if you’re shore fishing. He has an AMAZING play list. He makes me want to retire and become a fishing guide. *LADIES* I had the easiest pee of my life on the side of the boat. I know this is something we consider. He makes it very easy and gives you your privacy. We will be rebooking because even if we didn’t catch anything this trip still would have been a blast all because of Shawn. We didn’t like this area but 100% decided to plan a whole trip around Shawn’s availability. Will be looking into his tarpon trips!

Great captain great service and we found the fish 5 stars for sure. Look them up book that trip and catch some fish. Didn’t take us long we caught about 10 bull reds in 4 hours. I highly recommend

This is our second trip with Galveston Fish Commander. We had such a great experience on this fishing trip just like the last! From start to finish, everything was well-organized and stress-free. The crew was friendly, helpful, and clearly knew the best spots to find fish. We caught plenty, had fun the whole time, and felt taken care of throughout the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable fishing adventure.
