Why It’s Called the “Magic Lake” The lake's name stems from its remarkable ability to change colors multiple times a day. This phenomenon is attributed to varying sunlight angles, mineral content, and seasonal factors, creating a mesmerizing spectacle that enhances its mystical allure .
The Waterfalls of Wadi El Rayan are Egypt’s only natural waterfalls, located within the Wadi El Rayan Protected Area in the Fayoum Governorate, about 150 km southwest of Cairo. --- Key Facts: Formation: The waterfalls are man-made in origin but formed naturally over time as a result of connecting two lakes (Upper and Lower Wadi El Rayan Lakes) to manage excess agricultural drainage water from the Fayoum Depression. Height: The waterfalls are not tall but create a beautiful cascade effect, especially during high water flow seasons. Environment: Surrounded by desert dunes, cliffs, and limestone formations, the waterfalls offer a rare blend of water and desert landscapes.
Qarun Lake, one of the oldest natural lakes in the world.

We visited the nmec, which is such an underrated museum, as people always talk about the GEM and egyptian museum, but this is equally as good. I loved the entrance to the museum, it's so beautiful. Once we were inside there's so much to see from different time periods, including prehistoric egypt which also includes the 35, 000 year old skeleton which I found fascinating. Of course everything was explained so well by Ahmed as always, he never misses a detail, he guided us through all of the history. Of course the highlight of the museum is the royal mummies room and the surrounding video above the entrance to this, the feeling going to see them is another feeling altogether, seeing all these important royals with your own eyes. We also visited the hanging church, st George church , Ben Ezra synagogue and mosque of Amr ibn El. Each place was fascinating and equally beautiful in its own right. Also it was great learning how different religions are connected in Egypt and the history of each place.
Thank you my friend and we will do all the best for our tourists to make them happy
