Here at Ohana Surf Project we believe our clients are like family, and we strive to provide the best service to every person who chooses to join us on the water and we welcome their loved ones who come along to support them as well. We are passionate about surfing and specialize in three ways of teaching you how to glide across the water: surf, stand up paddle and bodyboard. All of our staff members have been in the business for many years and are some of the finest instructors in the industry. We love what we do and we enjoy working together, as a team and as ohana to make our students feel safe, comfortable, and successful.
Our biggest priority is SAFETY! All our coaches and guides are professional, trained in safety (CPR, lifeguard, first aid), and friendly.

Fun activity for marine sports beginners
It was our first time paddle boarding and it was fun. We were totally beginners and a bit scared of water actually but our male instructor was so great that we felt very comfortable being in the water. It’s a pity we forgot his name but we’d highly recommend him for any beginners. Very hospitable.
However we had experienced inconvenience with reservation that we had to change our date of the lesson and reschedule it to a later day after online booking was completed.

A total wow
Jaden was very fun and relaxed, which made us feel more at ease. We paddled a lot farther than I ever would’ve done on my own, which is a good thing. The entire time we were in the most beautiful turquoise water, it was amazing.

Great Experience! Highly Recommend
My sister and I took a semi-private standup paddle lesson with Kai ( one instructor with 2 ppl). He's awesome! He explained everything clearly and did a quick demo before we got into the water. First time for me but within half hour into the lesson, I was able to paddle standing up on the board. It's super fun! We also enjoyed the fantastic view of Waikiki and Diamond Head while paddling.

Staff was so kind!!
This was a great course. We had never surfed before and they were so encouraging and helpful! We both were able to get on the board and ride some waves!! We had so much fun!!

Great Value!
My 14 and 16 year old boys learned very quickly with this surf school. The price was well worth it. The instructors were kind, patient, and encouraging. My boys stood up quickly, so I know the training was great! Highly recommend!

Fun, encouraging and professional surf instructors
Excellent communication prior to the pick up. We knew exactly what to expect and where we would be picked up. The driver was courteous and took us to their surf shop. From there they showed us a video to help us visualize the process. The instructors were all kind, encouraging and fun. We all got up after 1 try, some of us got up on the first try! Don't hesitate to use these guys, they are professionals. I saw 8 year olds get up, 20 year olds, 50 year olds and even one 65 year old all get up.
