Itinerary
Team up with our family licensed guide & Percy fan and walk up the sacred Acropolis Hill, where you will hear about the different myths and legends associated with the city of Athens and Acropolis. If your kids are fans of the Percy Jackson books, they may already know about the stories of Athena and Poseidon, but there are many others to hear. Once at the top, our guide will show you around the Acropolis and Parthenon, pointing out interesting features, great photo spots, and viewpoints.
On leaving the Acropolis, our guide will lead the way to the Acropolis Museum for the second part of the tour. We know that kids and museums don’t often mix well, but this is certainly not the case with our tours inspired by Percy Jackson. Your kids can learn about ancient Greek society and culture, and listen to more myths about the Greek Gods in a fun and original way. Our family Athens mythology tour is all about taking part and having fun, something we’re sure everyone will enjoy!

This is a great company. Had a private tour from our cruise ship. Had a little difficulty finding our driver due to a strike at the port but everything worked out fine. Our guide is a practicing archaelogist and very knowledgeable about the acropolis and the museum. They took care of all the ticketing issues for us. The second guide added a percy jackson themed game incorporating athenian history and mythology.

Myself, my husband, and our 15-year-old daughter, spent 2 weeks in Greece in June and our Half-Day Percey Jackson tour with Greek Mythology Tours was one of the highlights of our trip. From the booking process with Konstantina, who was so informative and quick to respond; to our fantastic half day tour of the Acropolis and Acropolis museum with Eva; the process was seamless. Eva was so knowledgeable and was able to keep the adults engaged as well as a teenager. Our daughter loved all things Percy Jackson as a tween, but as she is a bit older, I was concerned the tour may be too young for her, but that was not the case. Eva made the experience so memorable, and our daughter even said at the end that she felt like she'd made a friend in Athens. Do not hesitate to book Greek Mythology Tours! You will not regret it.

We had a wonderful time on our Percy Jackson Acropolis tour. My 10 yr old really looked up to our tour guide and loved how knowledgeable he was. And it was great to have a 2nd guide who was super knowledgeable about the book series since my son is a massive fan. He enjoyed the app activities and as a parent, it was a great way to get a few mins to myself. My son was at total ease with our guides and I loved how comfortable he was walking along side them and listening. They involved him and interacted with him in a way that really connected with him. It was a great time!

Excellent privatevtour for our family of 4. We have two kids (ages 15 and 10), both of which have been Percy Jackson fans. From the booking of the trip, the day before our tour, meeting the tour guide, and finishing the tour.. it was all coordinated perfectly. I knew exactly what to expect. The tour guide was excellent and knew how to engage our kids, weave in mythology and also Percy Jackson stories, she kept our kids interested the whole time. It was pricy, but worth it!

We had an absolutely incredible experience on our Acropolis and museum tour with Eva! Words honestly can't describe how much we enjoyed it, and it was easily one of the biggest highlights of our trip. Eva met us promptly and paced the entire tour perfectly for our family. She did an amazing job balancing the depth of information—satisfying the adults' questions while keeping everything completely engaging and accessible for the kids. A few things that made this tour so special: Perfect Timing: She timed the tour beautifully so we were able to beat the sweltering midday heat. Family Photos: She knew exactly where the best photo spots were and took some wonderful pictures of our family. Museum Visit: In the Acropolis Museum, she highlighted the absolute must-see exhibits to give us the perfect amount of context, then let us explore the rest on our own. The length of the tour was just right from start to finish. If you are traveling to Greece with family, definitely book this tour and ask for Eva!

Our guide Maria was so so wonderful. Her focus was on the kids, she explained what we were seeing without talking down to them and her energy was admirable. She read the room and adjusted as necessary. The app component was fun and gamified it a bit. Worth every penny!
