The monastery itself has 800 years of history.

A wonderful experience from beginning to end with an exceptional guide and a fantastic atmosphere. Victor is a walking encyclopedia! His fascinating stories, historical insights and passion made the entire experience even more magical and brought the places and legends to life. It was like stepping into a real fairytale. When leaving from Bucharest, it is a very long drive to and from (6 hours round trip). There was no stop built in for lunch/bathroom break. The driver was subbing for another tour guide and he was not aware of the third stop that was listed on the itinerary. He became very verbally, aggressive, yelling at us to the point where he actually yelled and a very demanding and demeaning way to “just get in the car”. The itinerary was exactly what we were looking for, but the driver was horrible.
I am very sorry to hear that. In the last years, Vali had only five stars reviews and no one complained about him. As for the drive and the lunch break, everything regarding the tour is very well described in the tour description. Thanks for the review! I asure you, we'll try to improve.
This was a great private tour. Our guide Val was amazing. Right on time and was so great with our kids. He was extremely knowledgeable and kept us entertained the entire day. We got stuck in traffic and couldn’t make the Snagov Monastery (absolutely no fault at all on our tour guide) but he was so kind and really made sure our kids enjoyed the tour. Highly recommend!
