Fado Concert with Welcome Drink

Not attending a Fado concert while in Porto is like not seeing flamenco when in Spain! This concert was a wonderful way to spend an evening. The performance by the guitar players and singers was beautiful and soulful. The setting is perfect and intimate. The staff accommodated 2 patrons who could not climb down a flight of stairs to the concert room by having the performers play 2 songs on the upper level. Nice touch! In case you have mobility issues, note that there are steep stairs to the concert room. Great price for this event. I only wish the performance was just a bit longer. I didn’t want the music to end.

Great evening and professional Fado performance in a cozy atmosphere. Small-scale concert by two passionate Fado singers, accompanied by two excellent guitarists. This meant a cozy evening out for us! Beautiful!!

The musicians and singers were spectacular! So much passion, and feelings it didn’t matter we couldn’t understand the words. You felt them! Highly recommend!

lovely experience - highly recommend. underground vault setting with candles really adds to the atmosphere. The singing and guitar playing was excellent. I also appreciated the little introduction to fado right at the beginning. You are offered a glass of different ports or wine included in the price, which was very reasonable. I recommend also for a woman alone, such as I was. The area is central and the address not difficult to find.

Why another 5-star review? Because the intimate setting, about 25 listeners, is something special. The musicians are expressive and share their art with the audience. Nothing distracts you.

Lovely venue. Great staff. Good selection of wines. Intricate guitar work with 2 musicians. Male and female vocalists sang with passion and expression. Involved audience in some of their songs. The acoustic guitarist was exceptional with his his playing. A very intimate audience and we were all close to the stage, Great introduction to Fado.

Great evening, we really enjoyed experiencing the traditional Fado concert. It was good value for money booking through Viator. The singers and guitarists were very talented.
