Itinerary
Begin the day by meeting a private guide at your hotel in Lisbon and boarding your private vehicle to Fátima: one of the most important religious pilgrimage sites in Europe, Fátima became famous in 1917 when three small children claimed to have seen a vision of the Virgin Mary there
We start our day doing all your religious and souvenir shopping in a quick stop at Fatima's shopping center so that you can have your objects blessed at mass in the Sanctuary. We will continue our drive to Aljustrel in order to visit the Little Sheppards’ Houses and places of the Angel’s 2nd Apparition.
We will also visit Valinhos, where the Virgin appeared and Loca do Anjo – place of the Angel’s Apparitions. This is one of Fátima most sacred and peaceful places. If the weather and timing is good we will still walk up to the Plith of the Hunagrians doing some of the Stations of the Cross.
The Chapel of Apparitions and the Basilica of the Holy Trinity are different places of worship within in the Sanctuary and allow visitors to tour. Don’t miss the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, which holds the tombs of the now-deceased children who witnessed the apparition - Saint Francisco Marto, Saint Jacinta Marto and sister Lucia. After some free time at the Sanctuary, we’ll head for an early dinner! Our restaurant selections always include cozy traditional local restaurants.
We will then return to the Sanctuary for the International Rosary and Candle Procession. Be part of a marvelous prayer moment and Procession around the Sanctuary.
Afterwards, we will be returning to Lisbon, expected time of arrival, around midnight!

A life changing experience. You see the village and houses where the children lived. The sites of all of the apparitions followed by mass. Then a wonderful local dinner. The evening only gets better with the evening rosary and procession. Our guide was truly warm and inspiring.

What a tremendously beautiful experience! The pilgrimage was enlightening and most of all transcendent. Visiting the actual places where the Angel of Peace and Mother Mary visited the 3 saintly children and walking the candle lit vigil at night with your family is a memory that will last a lifetime. Our guide(Daniela) was an absolute gem! She is what I would call a true historian regarding Fatima and Portugal’s history. She was kind, attentive and offered our family space to really take in the sacred moments you get to experience. She made sure we were well taken care of al all time. I would not only recommend this tour company, when I come back to Lisbon, I would take the same tour again from how much my family and I enjoyed it. This was an amazing tour. Daniela, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about Fátima and did a wonderful job of pacing the tour to accommodate some mobility issues within our group. She also pointed out which restrooms to use and which to avoid. This is the first time I’ve ever done a review on TripAdvisor, and I’m doing it because Daniela was a wonderful guide. The restaurant she took us to was outstanding and priced well. The candlelight procession was amazing. It might seem like a long day, but it was worth it! This tour is perfect if you’re staying in Lisbon for just a few days and have limited time.

My wife and I booked the Fatima Private Tour, and it was truly a moving, once in a lifetime event. We are both devout Catholics, so we wanted to experience Fatima in a respectful in depth way, not as part of a four city drive-by from Lisbon. This tour far exceeded our expectations. Our guide Daniela truly made the tour special. Her knowledge about Fatima and her passion for it, and for educating others, really made the tour for us. We were never rushed, she explained everything in great depth, and knew all of the tricks to make sure we were in the right place at the right time. She also was a wealth of knowledge about Portugal in general, making the one hour drive back and forth to Lisbon fun and informative. If you want to truly experience the miracle of Fatima in an unforgettable way, book this tour. You will be glad you did!!!
Our guide Daniela helped make this a one of a kind experience and a highlight of our trip to Europe. She was incredibly knowledge about Fatima, the apparitions, and the experiences of the children. She was both insightful and reverent. Her tips helped us find a good seat for the daily mass and for the program before the candlelight procession. This is a very faith based experience, you don’t have to be Catholic to appreciate the beauty and the overall quality of the story itself. Our tour guide Daniela was amazing she gave us back drop of the story we toured the homes of the children and the groves where the apparitions took place. We were blessed to go to mass and participate in the rosary. It was one of the most beautiful and peaceful experiences we have ever witnessed. We had a very excellent and meaningful experience with this tour. Daniela, our tour guide was very knowledgeable, attentive and very professional.
This is a private tour. My wife and I were picked up around 1:30 pm and returned about midnight. The vehicle was very comfortable. Daniella has been operating this tour for over 10 years. She has been intimately involved with the activities at Fatima for many years. We were able to attend mass in the Cathedral, say the rosary at the place where Mary appeared to the children, visit the small community where the children lived and most importantly participate in the candle light procession of the statue of Mary through the grounds with hundreds of other pilgrams. Daniella would guide us to all of the venues, tell us what to expect and then let us have time by ourselves to take in the experience. It was a very meaningful pilgrimage for us. We also had a wonderful dinner at a local restaurant.
