Spectacular Snorkeling
Favorite snorkeling in Belize. I was not expecting Mexico Rocks to be be my favorite. The fish were bigger than Hol Chan and there were just as many sharks - and a ton more stingrays.
Nick was a great guide. We used Ridge and Reef adventures for three trips this time. All three guides were awesome. Highly recommend.

Fantastic! Don’t miss.
Fantastic! 45 -60 minutes of snorkling over beautiful corals and 20 minutes at stingray island. We saw everything! The snorkling part was even better than the snorkling on the full-day tour. However, I found the shark and ray experience more intense than the full day (they were so close!) and glad I acclimated the day before on the full-day experience.

Stopped at two locations...
Stopped at two locations - Mexico rocks where corals are in huge rock formation, saw barracudas, many kinds of fishes, huge lobsters, and turtles along with corals. Second one was sting ray city where we swam with nurse sharks, may be like 20 of them, and huge sting rays. Overall experience is very cool and our guide Marvin was total fun. However the only complaint I have (not specific to this company but in general activities in the area) is how every guide was touching corals and also feeding chum to fishes so that they accumulate in one spot.

Mexico rocks
Small group led by Pedro. Pedro was excellent. We swam a lot and we saw turtles, barracudas, sting rays and many colourful fish. We also swam with the stingrays and nurse sharks at a different location.

Fun afternoon; I just wish it was longer
I enjoyed this tour more than Hol Chan as the group was smaller and the guide took care of us. He explained the fish we saw and showed us interesting things in the water. The waters are calmer in Mexican rocks and there is more fish and different coral. I was a bit scared of a barracuda that was swimming near the boat as we were snorkeling but the guide reassured me the fish is safe to swim with. It was a fun afternoon.
Operator response

It’s less crowded....
It’s less crowded. There’s lots of stingray and nurse sharks. The coral reefs are similar to the Ho Chan, not bright colorful.
