Great overview of town.
This was a great tour to get an overview of the city. They picked us up at our hotel. We drove to the cruise dock to pick up other tourists. I believe we had 12 on the tour. Our guide was Martin and the driver was David. They did a very nice job of getting us around town and giving us details. I would not want to drive in this city nor look for parking. This is the best way to see town! We toured the Cathedral, two city squares. We spent some time in the old marketplace (over 135 years old). I like the Plaza Machado the best. Would love to see this square at night.

Informative and enjoyable city tour
Our tour guide was Abigail and she was wonderful! Our driver was wonderful as well, but I do not remember his name unfortunately. Abigail taught us a lot about the area and the history and culture. We were able to stop and see the Cliff divers, the downtown market, some other beautiful streets downtown, the Mazatlan sign, etc. Our only disappointment was that we saw some other really interesting things, but weren’t able to stop and spend time in those places or take photos. It would have been nice to be able to do that at some of the interesting statues and things that she was showing us along the boardwalk.

Shopping tour, not a city tour
The booking was done through Nexus tours, and provided by Vista tours. The tour guide was Susanna. More than half of the tour's time was dedicated to shopping: stopping at 3 places inside and outside the market, then heading to another place, and eventually driving to a jewelry shop, which was the longest stop. We did visit the cathedral, few streets around it, and the cliff divers, but the rest of the places Mazatlan is famous for - we just passed by them while in the bus. Susanna is knowledgable and has interesting stories to tell, but most of the tour was spent in convincing the group members to buy something. The way back was mainly about reminding to tip, how much to tip and showing others how much others already tipped. Bottom line, the city worth visiting but not on this tour.

Fun day!
We joined the Blue Agave tour and truly enjoyed ourselves. Susanna, our guide, made the experience fun and interesting. She is knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor, and shared her love of her country throughout. Truly a joyful spirit! The driver (David?) was also very helpful and, as promised, the best driver in Mazatlan.
The tequila factory is a small operation using primarily traditional techniques that Susanna explained with the help of a poster. The tour itself was fairly short, then the tequila tasting (and purchasing) began. Throughout, Susanna kept us entertained with stories, cultural information, and even a few dad (mom???) jokes.
La Noria, the town we visited, was primarily a shopping stop and then the optional lunch, price not included in the tour. Food was excellent! If you weren’t interested in shopping or eating, though, you were kind of stuck.
Vista Tours timed the tour so that we were about 1/2 hour before other tour buses which meant the tequila factory and restaurant weren’t crowded while we were there. Also meant that we had plenty of beach time afterwards.
Downside of the tour was the many (I think 6) stops to pick up people (total on the tour ~20). We were the first picked up so the first hour was picking up people and driving to the factory. Luckily we were the first dropped off.
For the most part, the people on the tour were fun to be with which makes the trip. The entire experience was a great way to see a bit of countryside, learn something new, eat good food/drink good tequila, and make new friends like Susanna!

Suzanna was top notch!
We thoroughly enjoyed our Mazatlán City tour with Suzanna. She was funny, engaging and very knowledgeable. She seems to be a city ambassador running into adoring fans everywhere we went. I would happily book another tour with her. She is very proud of her country and her heritage and it shows.

Fun Time Taking in the Sights
We spent a delightful late afternoon/evening on a City Tour plus dinner in Mazatlan. Susanna, our guide was knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. She did an outstanding job of shepherding our group and we enjoyed the various stops along the way. David, our driver, was helpful and mindful of a couple of the folk in our group with mobility issues. We topped it off with a dinner at Casa 46 overlooking the old town square. The ambiance was delightful, the food was scrumptious and the serving staff friendly and efficient.

Suzana's Day Out
Information about history of city/Aztecs was great, but visiting her family and friend's businesses on this tour and being pressured into buying things from them was not. Being laughed at for allergies also unnecessary by tour guide.

City tour with Vista Tours
My husband and I had a great experience.
Suzanna was our tour guide and she was very funny and full of information.
She was able to answer all of our questions.
If she didn’t know the answer she found out for us!
We very much enjoyed this tour.

True Spirit of Mazatlan
We did the City Tour with Susanna as the guide and David as the driver. I have done this tour a few other times. Great way to see Mazatlan. Susanna is a major character and made the trip so much fun. I would pay just to hang out with her. She is the fun grandma we all wish we had. Very knowledgeable and exudes the spirit of Mazatlan and the culture.

Trip around Mazatlan City
Susana and David were amazing during our tour, they were friendly, funny, and patience with us. We dis the tour around the city, and went to 46 restaurant after that, they gave us some extra time to walk around the Plaza in front of the restaurant. There was also some stopped traffic, but David pur driver new the different routes and we didn't get stock in traffic at all.
