We thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Daniel. He grew up in Lisbon and knows the city and its history very well. We had only one day to see Lisbon and have some mobility issues so this tour allowed us to get a feel for the entire city in a short time. Daniel’s personal experiences living in these neighborhoods added to our enjoyment of the tour. We stopped for a snack of Pastel de Nata in a park by the river before taking a quick drive through the historical sections of the city which we would not have been able to walk in. Pick up and drop off at our hotel was a big selling point for us too. This was a great tour for our needs and Daniel’s knowledge of the city was a real plus.

Daniel was a great tour guide. He grew up in Lisbon and knows its history and neighborhoods very well. We had only one day to see Lisbon and this tour covered the entire city not just the tourist areas. Daniel explained the development of various neighborhoods historically and included personal details of his life growing up in those neighborhoods. He even added a short drive through the old historic parts of the city since we don’t have the ability to walk the steep streets in those areas. We also stopped for a snack of Pastel de Nata which were wonderful. Pick up and drop off at our hotel was a main selling point for us too.

Daniel was an outstanding guide with excellent explanations of the sites, the city and the culture. He has an amazing breadth of knowledge of the city and country. The van was very comfortable. The city is beautiful with a very interesting history over several millennium. This was a perfect way to start our time in Lisboa.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Daniel. He took us through areas in Lisbon where only locals would go. He was so knowledgeable and friendly and readily shared his personal experiences of growing up in Lisbon. We even saw the building where he grew up. His dad still lives there! We loved the farmers market we visited. Highly recommend this tour!
