Great walking tour of Lausanne
Our guide was knowledgeable, fun, and flexible. We were able to connect with him ahead of time and make a slight adjustment to our schedule. It worked out for both of us. We had a great tour of the older parts of the city and a great explanation of the history of how it became what it is today. The only sad part is that we didn’t have more time to spend with our guide, but it was our schedule, not his that didn’t allow it. Next time we’re back, we’re going to take one of his longer tours, especially because, I think, it has food and chocolate included.

Casual and informational!
Great tour with Thomas who had lots of wonderful tidbits of info about Lausanne’s interesting history. We went mostly downhill so not strenuous if you’re tired from this city of hills. I like a tour that is a little more formal just because I don’t know what to ask in a new city - I want to be exposed to what the guide loves and knows about their city!

Didn't take place due to lack of a guide.
The tour was canceled by email about two hours before the start. We would have expected at least one phone call if it was canceled at such short notice.
Operator response
We alwas do our best to connect the travellers with extraordinary Locals that fit their profile. Unfortunately, as the experience is hosted by a private Local, they are not always available. Cancelling is never a pleasent thing for us as well, we try as long as we can to confirm a host for the tour, but are not always able to do so.
We once again do apologise for the inconvience caused by this situation.

Excellent and fun tour
Ana was our guide and she did a great job. She described the buildings that we saw on our tour and went into depth about why they look the way they do and the things happening at the time that they were built. She has studied the history of Lausanne and this region and was able to answer all of our questions. Truly 5-stars

Our guide Nikola was...
Our guide Nikola was lovely but didn’t seem to know much about the history of the area. She didn’t provide many details unless we asked questions.
