Don’t have to drink whisky to love this tour!
We had Neil (also one of owners), as our guide…he was amazing, very knowledgeable, super friendly and very passionate about his city, fellow small business owners, city’s history and new regrowth in the area. Having said that, his whisky knowledge was beyond impressive and the tour made our short stay in Glasgow so much more memorable :) definitely recommend!!! As a whisky drinker or not!

Neil was a wonderful host on this fun whiskey tour! He gave us a wonderful tour of the city he loves, shared just enough history to be informative without boring, and brought us to three very unique places for tastings. We enjoyed each pub for its own unique style and appreciated Neil’s thoughtful approach to both the places and the whiskey. Neil made a point of making sure that we felt welcome and enjoyed the tasting. Even if whiskey isn’t your favorite drink (admittedly it is ours), you’ll have a good time.

What not to like
Even the weather didn't dampen our spirits on this fabulous Glasgow walking tour. Neil was a perfect guide who knew the history and of course was very knowledgeable about the whiskey. The whiskey tasting was in lovely, different city centre pubs/bars, each with a story to tell. I would highly recommend to anyone interested in history, walking and whiskey of course. Thank you again!
Operator response

Highlight of our trip
My wife and I do similar tours in almost every city we visit and this was one of the best, if not, the best! Our guide was personable, knowledgeable, and engaging. We learned about whiskey but it wasn’t pretentious — after explaining that she doesn’t love straight spirits, my wife was offered ginger ale to mix with her scotch in every pub we visited. We were able to see some hidden gems that we would have never found on our own, or even been allowed into! We sampled scotch at a private members only club. We will definitely remember this experience for years to come!
Operator response
Wow, that's an awesome review!! We love to hear this is how you felt. Thanks for coming to our fair city and I hope we see you again!! Safe travels. Slainte!

Great tour & history of Glasgow and whisky
Great history tour of Glasgow and whisky. I had spent days in Glasgow before but after this tour, I was more excited about exploring and learning more about Glasgow. The guide introduced us to fun local pubs and whisky’s and gave us more to explore on our own.
Operator response

Great afternoon walking in Glasgow and tasting whisky
We thoroughly enjoyed our Whisky Walking Tour in Glasgow with Neil. Neil was an excellent and knowledgable guide - both about Glasgow and whisky. He was friendly, informative and passionate about Glasgow and whisky. The three venues were well chosen, from the oldest pub to a whisky club. We had never been to Glasgow before and it was great to walk the city with a knowledgeable local. Neither of us normally drink whisky and it was great to learn the whisky distillation process, and the different tastes of whisky. We enjoyed our afternoon and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Glasgow. Raewyn and Dave
Operator response
Thanks both. So glad you had a great time visiting Glasgow - a few drams along the way and good chat always helps, too! Slainte!
