Some say the cable car isn't worth it. I disagree. The views of old town are spectacular and it beats riding up a dusty road in a jeep. I would suggest the combo ticket with the museum on top. It helps you to understand the war that destroyed so much of the old city.
I wish it were a little easier to find the tour guide at the start. Besides that it was super fun! And easy enough walk. Lots of great information and history. The cable car ride up was so cool with beautiful views. The destination at the top was amazing with the views and restaurants
Very good guide. Pleasant, told in a good way. I interpreted the information as that we would start with the tram and end with a guided tour in Gamla stan. I was at the designated meeting place (the fountain) about 15 minutes early. I was sitting with my back to the fountain and watching for a bus up to the cable car. Finally called and asked where the guide was. He stood behind the fountain because we were going to start the hike. He had a paper in A-4 m with the name on it. You should inform better about how the activity should take place.
The experience gave a very nice overall history and description of Dubrovnik. The guide was also extremely knowledgeable.

Excellent guide who was very informative showing and telling us many aspects of Dubrovnik and its history. Views at the top of the cable car ride were stunning. Slight negative was that the meeting point details could have been made clearer. It said Pile Gate and Amerling Fountain - these are about 50m apart in a location where lots of touring groups meet.
An amazing experience. We had a very friendly and informative guide who gave us a great deal of information about the history of the city. The cable car trip allowed me to get fantastic views of Dubrovnik. Unforgettable memories of an amazing holiday. Well worth the money.
