Experience to Play PAC MAN in Real Life

Such a disappointment travelled 5HRS from wales to Manchester paid for Crystal Maze - Pac Man and Chaos Karts - Crystal Maze Fab! Then arrived at venue to tell me they had cancelled our booking in favour of a corporate one and this happens often by HO. This was made worse as two weeks prior a member of staff had called me to say could i move my slot so they could accommodate it an hour earlier which i had no problem with then they cancelled it without telling me. Was given an address to email to complain as they couldnt do anything on site no refunds! They came back and offered re book and refund i thought ok - Have now been trying to book that re- book for two weeks no one reply’s or they start the process and disappear. Daughter 18th ruined hotel and accommodation for trip unecessary - Online Chat No Reply - Support Team No Reply - Got a reply from Owner company partial date confirmed and no reply again! Honestly what a waste of money! They could have easily turned this around and they haven’t.

Poor all round. Dot tracking way off, mine and my daughter's dot kept freezing. My daughters pack has to be swopped. Staff said the dot tracking has been off for months, and still not fixed, such a shame. When I complained to the front desk they just apologised, no offer to come again once tech issues sorted.

I never got round to writing a review when we first visited a year or two ago. It would have been 5 stars for a well run and unique experience lasting about 45 minutes after the intro. We returned today to find that Pacman has now been moved upstairs to make space for the Chaos Karts. The new 'venue' is about 1/6 of the size and only lasted 20 minutes. That would have been bad enough, but technical issues with how the game is projected onto the floor made it borderline unplayable. You no longer just step on the dots/food to eat them around the Pacman board, you now have to move around to move a bigger dot (representing your Pacman) around the maze - the dot going over the smaller food dots or ghosts interacts with them. Less fun, but the dot you're controlling is in a different place relative to your feet depending on how far away from the centre of the room you are. In the middle of the space, it's just under your feet how it should be. At the edges it's ~1m away making it unintuitive to control (particular for younger players) and the outer edges of the food dots inaccessible. It's a mess basically and ends up just looking like people running around through the 'walls' trying to work out how to control their Pacman correctly. Now not worth the money or time to visit until they sort this out and hopefully move it back downstairs to its original location.

Really enjoyable family experience. There was Tech issue, but didn't have major impact

⭐ **WHEELCHAIR USERS – AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! NOT ACCESSIBLE!** Absolutely unacceptable to advertise this experience as **wheelchair accessible when it isn't**. We booked PAC-MAN for 8 people for my son’s 18th birthday. I specifically checked accessibility before booking so his wheelchair-using brother could join in with everyone. We arrived to find PAC-MAN is now on the **first floor**, the **lift wasn't working**, and the only access was **stairs**. His wheelchair weighs around **150kg**. We ended up having to carry the wheelchair upstairs and then carry him separately just so he wasn't excluded from his brother's birthday. How can a company advertise an experience as wheelchair accessible and allow a family to book on that basis when a wheelchair user cannot even get to it safely? Poppy, Ayla and James were absolutely amazing and did everything they possibly could to help us and make the birthday special. They are a credit to the company and none of this was their fault. But as far as accessibility goes, **AVOID, AVOID, AVOID** until they can actually provide the wheelchair access they advertise.

This was almost £20 each, only lasts about 30 mins max. The experience is fun but they are some HUGE issues. The technology wasn’t working properly, our “Pac-Man” wasn’t directly beneath us as it should be, meaning our ‘pacman’ wouldnt move where we wanted it move. The staff said there has been a tech issue for weeks yet they still continue to charge full price. There was zero aircon which means it’s sweaty before you even start running around. Most annoying of all is that all the high scoring items appear in the same place throughout the whole game, so everyone just hovers around the same part of the arena taking all the fun / skill out of it. Would not go again unless prices were lowered. Way too expensive for what it is. Can’t fault the guides/staff working, they were great and the issues were not their fault

We booked the Pass Bundle, which included The Crystal Maze, Chaos Karts and the Pac-Man Experience, and it was a fantastic way to enjoy all three attractions. The bundle offered great value for money and made for a brilliant couple of days of family fun. The Pac-Man Experience was at the same venue as Chaos Karts, but we visited the day after. This time, the experience from the moment we arrived was much smoother. The staff were fantastic and kept us informed every step of the way. The person looking after us was brilliant – they explained exactly how the game worked, what to expect and made sure we knew what was happening before we started. Once we entered the Pac-Man Experience, it really did feel like stepping inside the game. It was so much fun running around, collecting points and trying to beat each other. It was fast-paced, energetic and a proper workout! Be warned though – it gets very hot in there, and you will definitely work up a sweat. I would highly recommend wearing shorts and a T-shirt because it’s basically like doing a HIIT workout while playing Pac-Man! The whole experience was full of laughs and brought out everyone’s competitive side. I absolutely loved it and was very proud to be the one with the highest score by far (I’ll happily take that victory! 🟡). It was such a unique experience and unlike anything we've done before. If you love Pac-Man, enjoy a bit of competition or just want something fun and different to do, I would definitely recommend it. Combined with The Crystal Maze and Chaos Karts, the Pass Bundle made for an amazing day out and created some brilliant family memories. We would definitely do it all again!

I was bought this as a gift experience for my birthday and I have to say I think it was the best gift I got. We had so much fun couldn't stop laughing. Every member of staff was so friendly and fun. You are there about an hour and get about 30mins game which was the perfect amount of time and is a mix of the traditional pac man. It is very high energy so ware comfy shoes and take a bottle of water

Family of three, quite competitive and into games and sports. Well, this was a perfect activity for us! Really enjoyed this game and we had an excellent PAC Master! Full speed from start to finish. Thanks!

Im old enough to remember playing Pac-man on a pub tabletop. My daughter found this and Im up for a challenge. You take the role of the pacman with sensors strapped to you. The maze and ghosts are projected on the floor. I thoughtbid be too old and outvoted shape to be running around but my competitive streak took over. The host put energy and enthusiasm into the commentary. Such a good laugh. And great exercise. One old man. 4 teenagers. All loved it. Highly recommended
