A fantastic experience for Explorer Scouts
Wow! What a great day out! We took a group of Explorer Scouts to enjoy this experience and they had a great time! Not only was this fun and exhilarating but we got to find out about Irish culture and why these games mean some much to them.
Highly recommend this for any such groups.

Great experience
This was great fun, we did this while on a stag in Dublin. It offered the perfect balance between learning the rules and techniques of a new sport while also letting the group just have great fun. Would highly recommend for a stag weekend.

Definitely Recommend!!
Stephen was a great instructor and our experience was amazing! We learned and played the basic skills of hurling and Gaelic football. Our family of four, including two teenage boys, rated it as one of the top highlights of our trip to Ireland! We would definitely recommend it to an active, sporty family!

So much fun!
I came as a chaperone with a group of American university students. THIS WAS A BLAST! We all had so much fun. We got a chance to learn about the world of gaelic game clubs and try out hurling, gaelic football, and gaelic handball. The trainers were lovely, helpful, fun, and encouraging. I would not hesitate at all to bring another group of students here. (And these students might be starting gaelic pick-up games back state-side.)
Operator response
We are delighted to hear that you and your students had a good time with us. We really appciate your kind words. We hope the students keep up their new skills state-side!
We hope to see you again soon!

Totally unique experience with wonderful instructors
This is the perfect activity for those who enjoy history and sports. There was one gentleman who ran the history/intro part of the day and another young man, Andrew, who served as our coach and both were class acts--very knowledgable, kind and passionate about the Irish culture. I went with my family of 4 (kids ages 8 and 14) and the rest of our group happened to be college students who were doing an internship also from Texas. You get an overview of 3 sports, get to try them out in drills and then anyone who wants to can play a quick match. It turned out to be a great activity for our family (2 major sports fans and 2 good sports), partly because it was very interactive/good way for my son to get out some energy and partly because the instructors were so wonderful. I also appreciated the fact that a bunch of seniors were using the clubhouse to go through old newspaper articles and another big group was having a luncheon--it was nice to see a range of generations using the community center and sharing the Irish culture.

A must try!
12 Men for a Bachelor Trip to Ireland and looking back it would not have been complete without Gaelic Games. Learning about the history, the sports, and playing (or trying to) added a whole new appreciation for the Irish, the community, and sport.
On top of all of it, we even were notified about a local hurling match that we were able to get tickets for!
Thank you to the whole Experience Gaelic Games staff! Thanks a million for your patience, sharing your knowledge, and adding to a memorable trip!

Great stag activity
We had a great time learning to play Gaelic sports as part of a 14-man stag party. This was the perfect activity and, even in the rain, we had unbelievable craic. The coaches were very patient but facilitated really fun games that suited our ability. We got a great feel for what these sports represent in the Irish culture and we enjoyed the Guinness in the bar afterwards. Thank you so much!
